This movie is a cautionary tale about trust. As they say in Filipino, "huwag puso parati ang pailarin," which basically suggests to use one's brain, not always the heart in anything that you do. It requires balance and also careful consideration when helping people. It's important to know how to tell people apart, despite of the clothes they wear, or things they claim, one must not be too naïve to know the basics in terms of trust. Don't be too reckless to trust people. In a society or generation where most knowledge are pretty much derived from a second-hand knowledge, through stuff or contents from the internet which is a haven for inaccuracies and false news and the result is like a domino-effect, and that's because people use less of their brains. Their natural instincts these days are tarnished because of their reliance on technology. It's not authentic. They're like manufactured humans who didn't pass the quality test and they're left to rot and terrorize people. The moral of the story is that the protagonist showed her soft side helping someone who turned out to be unworthy of it. And at the same time, it showed the outcome of using pure emotion and less of one's brain.
