I don't know about japanese shows, but I've seen alot of food review stuff where they only take 1 small bite and instantly say it's soooooooooooo good even though they literally haven't even chewed or anything yet, the food is in their mouth for only a nanosecond before they start praising it, so you just know they didn't even taste it and were just ready to praise it beforehand. Also after that 1 bite they always just shove the food off to the side to move onto the next thing.
