massive audience and large income is questionable. Unfortunately as a private company, cover's balance sheet (earnings/costs) is not transparent. Anime has a high risk of hits and misses, if you want to get good studios you need to convince them with sales numbers too. Current Hololive sales are not convincing. Even this Youkai watch anime will have to go on hiatus after 4 more episodes, Level5 knows they can't keep pumping money into something that doesn't give adequate return on investment.

It does makes sense. Korone cameo-ing in Yokai Watch; an anime about Yokai so its not wrong to say that Korone was possessed by a Dog Spirit (similarly to how Moona is also possessed). Hence why she now has dog ears and tail and why she is just a regular girl in the anime.
