I believe he went to Scotland and England(he taught in Budokwai for a short time) for few years before going back to Japan to be the Heavyweight coach in 2012. Right now Ono is in the same route as Inoue

31:10 Just tonight in class my coach was telling me to do Inoue's spinning Uchi mata because I am always the shorter one. He said don't bother with the traditional Uchi mata if you are shorter, it's too hard to pull off.
