Nice effort but you got the wrong XPG model. They make one that looks like it has a woven fiber optic cover and throws strands of light from side to side and other pretty unique patterns. Amazon has a 3 x 6+2 model for video cards but no 24 pin power cable. You have to go to eBay for those and they ship from China so 3-6 week wait and you have to hope you get the right one or it might be like the one in this video.

The XPG one looks like it’s backwards. The end that connects to the original psu 24-pin looks brighter

Lian li the SL/AL120 fans all connect to a controller and you can connect that one to the lian li, and use their program to customize the whole system together. Or also use the rgb program installed into the motherboard.

I love RGB lighting and can't get enough of it, so if there's an option to replace my standard black power cables with some highly customizable LED lighting then I'm all over it. I considered the XPG mobo + gpu cables for a budget-friendly option, but their quality and range of effects fell way short of the Lian Li Strimer Plus v2, so I had to go with LL.

@@danyuzunov not a flex, but would you put one of these on a higher-end build? What gauges are the wires? Will they take higher current? Seems like a sensible question to me.

@@supremeoverlorddiamontethe4557 one was 18awg, not sure about the rest. The Lian Li will either be 16 or 18. If you're worried about the cables you could look into the RGB cable combs instead.
