If anyone here is debating on whether to buy them, DO IT! they complete a build if your stuff is already heavy RGB. This along with LL fans are stunning. BUT there are some cons. Pros- Visually stunning/ Makes you want to stare endlessly at your case So many modes Lots of bright colors to chose from Cons- More cables, if you aren't fond with cable management it gets little more tricky. stubborn to contort and move around. The way most motherboards are set up in a case, it might be hard to bend them without having cables pop out of sprockets (annoying to reattach). The controller (which I use instead of RGB headers) feels cheaply made and easy to break which is a little nitpicky but it mattered to be because I don't want to buy a new one. Lastly is the price which I don't find too bad as the cables themselves do seem quality but it could be dropped. If it were 60-70 for both it would be in a lot more cases

I thought the same thing. It wouldn't be too difficult to wire an arduino to the controller and plug each of the controllers switches into the arduino and "push" them via software. Another option would be to just use an arduino or raspberry pi zero with a ws2812B led controller shield on it. That option would require a fair bit of programming work to duplicate their "modes" but it would definitely be possible since they outright tell us there is 108 leds in one and 120 leds in the other. Ill probably mess around with option 2 for some other RGB stuff I have but later when i get a little more cash i might order these and try and wire that controller into a usb enabled arduino. Then you could either write a simple GUI to control it or (more likely for me) make a simple wireless hardware controller that duplicates to buttons function but you can sit on your desk within reach.

I picked up the 24 pin and the new 3 x 8-pin for RTX 3080 cards. I am going to be installing them soon. I am currently using a Chinese brand that looks pretty good, but because the RTX 3080 has three 8-pin connections, one of them is no longer RGB. Since I was getting that for my 3080, I figured I should also pick up the 24-pin. Note, the 3080 GPU extension strimer comes with a the same controller that comes with the 24 pin. I would have liked to see your review showing the controller with some of your other RGB plugged into it. I have lots of RGB in my system, and I am curious as to how it would sink up using this controller. I also wonder about whether or not the unit defaults to Motherboard RGB, or Controller RGB. I plan on hiding this controller and I don't want to have to open the case every time I turn the computer on just to set it to use the motherboard RGB. I feel all controllers like this should have a remote specifically so you don't have to open the case for any adjustments. Considering the price, this was a pretty big oversight. In fact, you can't even plug your reset button into this controller as you can in some other manufacturers controllers. This would also allow you to change the patterns from outside the case. This product is pretty much double the price of other similar products, so I would have thought some kind of exterior control solution would have been included. With this type of addressing, which many RGB manufacturers use, you cannot get everything to sync if you are using an RGB splitter or hub. I will be testing this in the next few days, but the hub I use I believe treats all the devices plugged into it as a single device. I believe this allows you to control many more LEDs than the motherboard could usually handle since it thinks all the devices plugged into the hub are a single device. Without the hub, there is no way I could get 2 x 1m RGB strips, an RGB GPU support, an RGB M.2 heatsink, GPU strimer, 24-pin strimer, and 7 RGB fans to run off of those addressable aRGB headers. I have thought about plugging it all into the output from the controller, via the hub, but this would look odd I think since some devices would be treated individually (those that are daisy-chained), and some treated as one device (those plugged into the hub). I am not 100% sure since I have not tried this yet, but I think I am going to be experimenting quite a bit over the next few days.
