Yep I remember the days of the seven bones and london broils. None of my buddies ever complained, but then again after about a 12 pack of beer most things taste okay 😂

When it was me and my son I use to buy the cheapest steaks I could get. Cut the slices thin so we could eat them. You made me choke up a little at the end Kosmo. We are both truly blessed! 🙌🏼

Yep soy sauce and black pepper and u can add a little bit of oil too for the marinade if u want..its truly a great season/marinade for steak..its all i do. Another secret for a killer steak seasoning is 4 to 1 to 1 parts of powdered Auju mix, Lawrys Season salt, Lemon pepper. We used this at a Steakhouse I was the grill master at in the 90's early 2000's

That's a great marinade recipe! I use the same thing but never considered the Au Jus mix. Just added that to my ingredient list!! Thanks for sharing this!!!

Nice marinade, soy sauce and brown sugar is a very basic well known kalbi marinade that many use it different forms on alot of different steak. What about the fork poking, what you know about that? I don't see any one on you tube doing that and it's a GAME CHANGER I've been doing for decades now.
@grillmaster072 жыл бұрын
Damn right! Hell yeah that's the way I started out!! Good old chuck eye! Best ever stake at the fire! In deer camp! I use the wish sauce and the soy, garlic salt on a ribeye now.🤪 Moved up but you can't beat a good chuck!

A friend of mine introduce me to Kosmo products last time we got together, I brought a whole grass lamb leg and a whole duck they turn out amazing. I started using them for my own rib roast, ribeye, whole chicken, and pork. After watching this video I remember how I used to cook steak, I used to poke it with forks while cooking in the pan so it can drain the blood and cook faster and let all the juice come out that was 30+ years ago I don't do that anymore. Good memory. Keep up the good work bud!

I love the seasonings and you’re early videos but this one feels like you were downplaying the fact that not everyone can afford to eat rib eyes or fillet much less Wagu.. being able to take less tender cuts and make them as good as the prime cuts is what sets great cooks from the rest.. I can do it and will continue to do so even though I can afford the better cuts.

Oh yes, been eating these for decades. Soy sauce is great, but I always used Dale's Seasoning when I had it, just careful to not marinate too long (20 minutes seemed to be the sweet spot). I nearly ruined some backstrap once by marinating for 3 hours, but was able to salvage it by cooking up some egg noodles, stirring in some sour cream and calling it stroganoff...
