I have watch countless videos trying to narrow down a purchase and Kospet won. The large battery sold me when compared. The Genesis was an eye catcher but it's still in development. It's on sale now at Gearbest.

switch off notifications through the wiiwatch app as every apps notification is on by default , one great thing these watches have is sound , apple watch is crap for playing music on the go as you cant use the built in speaker , in the watch in the connect options in open phone connect to get qr code

Hello Mac, whereas the lot of Notifications are concerned as already discussed in the previous reviews , I had the same problem with my Huawei P30 Lite having lots of Notifications again and again which was such a Headache, so at last I turned all the Notifications from unnecessary Apps , now I'm very happy to get rid of that torture n back to my colorful Life.

Question: (I got below questions before buying it) 1. If you're wearing it on , and you move the wrist towards your face to watch the time , does it show the actual clock (Main watch face) at that time OR we have to touch or press button to bring time ? 2. What is the default screen appearance ? 3. Does it also go black or always show something on screen ?

1) It should show the watch face when you flip your wrist. But with such a nice screen I prefer to leave it on as long as possible (30 minutes option) and use the button to reactivate it when needed. You won't burn the screen thanks to IPS tech!

2) & 3) Default is the watch face. You can set the time it will stay on before going black (up to 30 minute, an always on option should be offered!) , no stupid "ambient" mode here.

If you install Alternate Launcher you have an Always On option that keeps your screen always on but with a lower refresh rate to save the battery and it is very efficient! Ambient mode comes in unfortunately but if your watchface is correctly adapted (WatchMaker) you don't see a difference when the screen switches to Ambient mode so it's really full screen always on! In Always On mode I can have a full work day in Plane mode, not so bad. As it is not an Oled screen you don't have to bother with the burnt screen problem!

You can choose what notifications you receive through the wii 2 app... So it's not constant notifications. You don't have to press both side buttons to change the screen to full /square!.... Just swipe down to open your quick toggle menu.. Then select the full /square toggle!

To resync after reloading the wiiwatch app, just use the assistant app on the watch to get the QR code to re-connect

and another question, Side camera position looks stupid, is it easy to capture images/videos while wearing it without capturing your hand at the picture all the time? i mean your hand will appear at all the time you are capturing with side camera?

I know you can't make phone calls from the watch via Bluetooth if you aren't inserting SIM.. but instead, can you connect Bluetooth speaker to the watch/phone and answering/make phone calls normally while SIM Still in your phone?

Not quite sure your question. You can connect Bluetooth speaker directly to phone to answer calls, you don't need watch for that

I'm using with a T-Mobile SIM... I can make and receive calls, and send texts, but I couldn't receive texts and I wasn't getting notifications for apps... Is there something I'm doing wrong?

About your persistant notifications problem, you can selectively deactivate the notifications in the Wiiwatch2 app. I had the same problem and it took me some time to find the solution due to the poor translation off the app option in my language (French).

Question? I really want the watch for music, receiving my cell phone text & notification and I like (AOD)always on display. 1. If I buy a t-mobile sim card, will I be able to forward my phone text messages to the watch and if I reply from the watch will it be the watch number or cell phone number. 2. If I'm playing youtube music or any music streaming app and the watch screen goes off will the music keep playing.

You can place a sim in here for phone calls however iPhone compatibility is not as good as android due to iMessage being dominant way messages are sent

VuTube519 you should be able to insert your purchased SIM card/ previously owned SIM card into the watch. It should be activated prior to insertion

hey how's the screen in broad daylight? I'm torn between this Prime and Optimus Pro because of the screen. Prime uses IPS LCD and Optimus Pro has Amoled.

Definitely not the brightest. You will have harder time viewing it in comparison to amoled panel. If you are out in sun a lot I wouldn't recommend it

Hey thanks for the comment! 1)I didn't forget it, it just wasn't practical so didn't review it. It's cool in theory but in actuality it just isn't practical. In hindsight I could have said a one liner about it though 2) Thank you, however I was unable to master this and Im rather tech savvy so for average consumers I'd imagine they wouldn't be able to either which detracts from ease of use 3) Camera quality I did touch on during review 4) Touched in this during review as well 5) Wii watch 2 is not something that is advertised with watch. I try to do a as is approach for my reviews. To get the best use of alot of the Wii watch 2 features you have to sideload features from outside of play store which is a red flag for some users due to security and also makes it not as easy to use. Hope this helps!

If I don't put a SIM card in this, can I still receive messages like text, Telegram, FB notifications, incoming calls, email? I don't care that I can't respond to them. I just want to get the notification on the watch. I don't want to make phone calls or write emails. My main use for this will be fitness tracking anyway

Yes you can. However if your main use will be fitness tracking, this isn't the best watch to have. It will get the job done but there are better options. Check it my channel for more videos so you can make best decision 👍🏿

@@Macstechtoybox For me, the large screen is the main attraction. I'm 52 and my eyesight isn't quite the best. I'm not running marathons or triathlons. I just like keeping track of distance when I'm hiking. And other basic fitness parameters. Nice to have a map with my position on it too, and onboard music storage. I've been using a Garmin Fenix 5X for the last 2 years. I got rid of it because the GPS was very inaccurate. My phone's GPS would have a nice smooth line for my recorded track, but the Fenix track would look like the profile of a saw blade. The total distance between the watch and official trail maps was significantly off. It was basically useless as far as GPS goes. Thanks for the reply

You don't need to press both button in order to have the screen go square or full screen. You just press the top for one sec and it will give you the options.

Droid assistant app. You need the watch version ( to be downloaded to watch) and the phone version ( to be downloaded to phone)

Kospet does not support this product after the sale. My lasted only four weeks then stopped being able to charge or turn on. When approached for support, I was informed that they would not stand by their product and didn't worry about anyone reporting out about their lack of support. While I continue to seek support, I am getting the word out that this is their stance.

You can respond to Facebook messages from the Facebook messenger app. If you have headphones on and using watch as a phone you can hear audio and speak through microphone in earbuds

If people wanted a standalone smartwatch for the same use cases as a regular smartwatch, shouldn't they just buy a regular smartwatch for less? The main draw here is the sim card slot, which renders some of your complaints moot. For example, I've never gotten a repeat notification on a standalone smartwatch, however, I don't pair my standalone smartwatch to a phone. That would kinda defeat the point of a standalone smartwatch.

The smart in smartwatch has to do with its ability to "be standalone." To replace your cellphone. Ive been carrying around a cell phone for 20 years and im tired of it. A smartwatch has been my solution. What's idiotic to me is having a watch that isn't worth a shit unless it's paired to a phone.

I only have mine for 2 days but I would say if you take advantage of the gorgeous screen and the fact that it won't burn like an OLED one and keep the watch connected to WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G, you can hope for 24h use. (Screen off and plane mode at night). If you only switch the screen on when you look at it and use plane mode or only Bluetooth I would hope for two days of use. Due to the huge size of this watch I don't think you will wear it at night so a nightly recharge should be a good solution to have plenty of battery for the day.

You can also enable "Hi Goggle Voice assistance" How to enable it, in the "Voice search" -> speak "How to enable voice assistance in andriod smart watch" (or something similar) , after that dont do anything, after a few sec, a popup will comeout asking "Enable voice assistance?" then just follow the steps. With that you can do many intresting stuff for eg( "Hi goggle, open youtube), ( Hi goggle, call Wils on) ( Hi goggle, play music - this one you need to download goggle music inorder to do it ) + many many more ( I'm using the older version Hospet hope, so I want to ask how is the "Face id" in Hospet prime? ) oh yeah, you can also make your own watchface using ClockSkinMaker, this is one of the watch skin I made (Division Watch Skin imgur.com/a/Mmgm4RE )

Android 7.1.1 is a werid palce for a smartwatch. On one hand its spec heavy and SHOULD be able to do everything a phone does but becuase of limitations Im not sure of, it cant. It will probably not last as much as youre samsung galaxy watch unfortunately. I would say keep your Samsung Galaxy watch I only recommend if you want the cool factor and or have never used a smartwatch before because you have nothing to compare to and wont be disappointed

Me too, ai used to have Thor 4(android 7.0) but the battery was really terrible. So I sold it and bought Galaxy watch. Galaxy watch battery is impressive with 3 days for nomal use but really limit with application. I can't do so much, just use for time and alarm.

The screen is really gorgeous, the first smartwatch I find capable of looking like a classic watch! But we'll need a way to create faces that take advantage of that screen, no app to do this as with Wear OS... I'm trying to look in the watch faces folders to try to edit those. The biggest lack for me is the absence of complications like in Wear OS, no hot spot in the faces, they're dead and I don't see any solution for this.

Very disappointed in the watch will not work on Verizon network you have to download watch faces to a computer and then download them to the watch you can't change the weather to Fahrenheit from Celsius
