Knife Making - Knife with Stone Handle

Making knife from piece of W1-7 high carbon steel and handle from pretty stone that I found at the yard. The stone framed with patinated brass. There I try to show all steps how to make this knife in the video.

I have seen a lot of knives and I've seen a lot of knives being made and I've even seen a few with handles that have stone but this is the most original and interesting way of implementing Stone I've ever seen

The stone looks like Jasper Great idea for a knife. I once saw a Japanese knife with a malachite and turquoise handle finished with ebony, now that was something.

It is not a tiger eye or smokey quartz for sure. Agate or striped jasper are closer. But honestly i think it is a commen stone found in nature. I’ve got a couple of found stone in my collection and don’t know what they are called. That’s my guess 🤓 The knife is awesome 😎
