I didn't know where to look next. I couldn't believe all the beautiful hand powered tools, all in beautiful condition. It was a joy to see them. And the workshop too. So, tidy, organized and lovely. I lived for a time on the land in Ohio, with no electricity. We built a house using hand tools, and with the guidance of several elders who still knew what tools we'd need and how to properly use them. Between helping my dad with sanding when he was woodworking, as a little girl, and my experience living with no running water and no electricity, I came to love old tools, many of which are beautifully sculptural. So, it was a pleasure to watch this video. And to find your channel. Thank you for preserving the old skills and tools.

Fanastic. There are many people that can make an item, say, a knife from scratch and have it turn out beautifully. Not too many can take something that's in a state of total disrepair and make it whole again. It's a rare set of skills and one that isn't valued nearly enough.

Thanks! They are decorative, some of the blade makers have there own decorative patterns as a signature. You immediately know who made the blade.

Thanks for the kind feedback and watching. Actually, metal tip was added later to the sheath at some point and it was just a regular piece of sheet metal. That is the reason why I discarded it. Take care!

Thank you so much! They sell anywhere from $100 up to $500 and sometimes even more. Depends on many factors, mostly who made the blade, what material has been used and for what occasion knife is used for.
