Miss this music and the DJs who handled it so differently than today. I remember cruising Santa Monica Blvd with an In-and-Out in one hand and the radio dial in the other. I discovered radio in the 80s. The Top-40 mighty 690 just across the Mexico border. Even K-BIG classical. And who could forget KNX-1070 am and Rick Dees on 102.7. When personalities contributed to class on the radio. What a contrast to modern criminal class.

I keep coming back to this video, just to listen to the first girl and how upset she sounded about the whole situation. Very raw and sincere feelings she’s displaying here. I hope her and her dude worked things out eventually and made it work. What yours is yours and can nothing or nobody take that away from you ever. When you know, YOU KNOW. Much love everyone.

thankfully, we still got one here, at least 2. Ted, haven’t listened on weekends, but, Karen, she’s still around and still going strong, in fact, me and her kinda talk and are friends on social. I’ve got the honor to talk live online with her too. she’s awesome! it may be modern, but she still got that magic left in her!

4:15 - 4:45: hauntingly romantic and nostalgic. I was born in 1986, and I remember they played this jingle on Kost 103.5 up until the mid-90s and then it disappeared…they don’t make jingles like they used to anymore.
