University of North Texas player Keegan Brewer epically fooled his opponents on the field by pretending he'd made a fair catch-and then stunned Arkansas by going for a touchdown. Here’s how he successfully used principles of magic to misdirect his "audience."

Kostya, thanks for your introspection on a play that pretty much gave UNT their biggest win in program history. I bleed Mean Green and white. UNT Class of 2002.

Tbh, UNT would've still won by a large margin without this play...

@@walkinredneck yeeeeah but this was a huge momentum shift for us and just added that much more humiliation factor.

I coach children's football, and I too think of misdirection plays as magic tricks. The one shown here is not the only kind of "sleeper" play.

I love watching football and doing magic, so I am happy you just combined those two and saw that play! I was thinking exactly what you said in this video when I saw it. In fact my favorite college football team, the USC Trojans performed something as cool as this. Michael Pittman Jr.’s punt return against the UCLA Bruins, you should really check it out. Peace!✌️

Ah, what another great fake-out. Amazing how a few player's assumptions can lead a whole team astray.

Kostya Kimlat I totally agree. I think part of it is also the fact that the players are too scared to drill another player if it looks like the play is dead, because they will receive an extreme amount of hate and look like an idiot.

Magic principles also apply to 'gunfighting'. As a firearms instructor I use misdirection and covering actions to conceal a draw. It blows the students' poor little minds 😁

Kostya this video probably took 20 minutes to script and write and as long to edit in the clips. It's great though, do more of these off-the-cuff Loki videos just to get some perspective of there for us fans. Good work
