Good morning Meli. I always enjoy your videos. I used to be a big model builder and only tried one Gundam kit of what I thought was an original which was similar to your giant standing one. It wasn't hard to put together but posing it or trying to get it to stand was hard and I felt there were some loose parts on it too. I also used to collect the Shogun Warrior line and I loved those.

I’m not familiar with meta bots. But even though this was a thumbs down especially the price, it is refreshing to see the variety of kits chosen. The transformation looked like he had a little too much to drink. Not really my cup of tea. Your reviews are always fun and informative, Meli. Keep up the great work!

Hate to be a bastige, but the torso looked not completely clicked in. I may be wrong, but just the other day I had a "PC" joint that mushroomed on me as I tried to connect the 2 halves, had to exacto it to fit and completely close the 2 pieces. Thank God I only took off enough, it was an arm joint and I kept thinking "This arm will be flopping about, if I take off too much" (Relaxing hobby, HAHAHA). Great builds, Enjoy your channel.

I also prefer Rokusho over Metabee due to my preferences in stag beetles over Japanese rhino beetles and close combat over ranged-types

Metabots is a series that I think could benefit a lot from a reboot series. In regards to this kit, the fact that this kit costs about as much as an MG while having HG attributes makes this a difficult kit to actually buy unless you're a bit fan.

Gunprimer sells a Joint Guard to tighten joints, I have some but haven't given it a try, maybe that could help with the waist joint for this kit.

Funny, with kotobukiya kits i find myself loosening joints to avoid breaking them while posing. Maybe they tried to imitate the original toys which would have everything fall off from the tinpet.

After a quick search on Wiki, the yellow hexagonal shape thing is called a medal. It does house the programming\soul of the medabot. As for the waist\loose joints, the only thing I can see for that is the transformation part. Sadly, I don't care for the "transformed" version because it looks sort of lame. All it is him on his elbows and knees trying to look like some sort of vehicle, maybe? Being a Transformer fan (G1 original mostly), the alt mode needs a huge amount of work. Even some of the older Transformers had better joints than this guy. On somewhat of a personal concern, did you get hit by Hurricane Ida? I thought about you and one other who I know who lives in Florida when the hurricane hit.

That ain't rokusho or head scissors how its named in the actual kit. That one is more of an attempt to upgrade the armor type. Rokusho in the anime was a pretty old model.
