All kinds of people entering Ghana even in COVID-19 because there is money in Ghana (Africa) but because of jealousy and hatred for each other we sit down and look on while foreigners make and take away our money. Can we learn to support and be honest in dealing with each other for our own prosperity?

@@georgeakomeah7229 Ive seen enough of the UK govt initiatives go through much worse than teething problems to know that all new procedural systems experience them. To achieve a 30 min turnaround is a serious challenge especially when 200+ people pour off one large airplane. The Govt minister stated that the proceeding would be reviewed which is only normal. Ive a close friend who works in the medical centre at Kotoka so will be able to find out first hand how it is going. The existing medical centre is not, Im informed handling the testing which implies a whole new dept has been set up. I would be surprised if that doesn't take time to get up to speed.

Since there are more than one language in Ghana why should the subtitles be in English only and not in all local languages ? I understand your point but pride has nothing to do here. As you probably know, the airport has the word INTERNATIONAL in its name, and for your information the official language of the aviation sector worldwide is English, from China to France, to Germany, to Russia, to Brasil, etc. I work in an international airport, more precisely in Belgium where English is not a national language, but guess what ? English is the main language at the airport.

@labambou4 жыл бұрын
@@ghanaboylou My dear I can only confirm what I know for sure, and at the international airport of Brussels you MUST speak English in order to be employed, unless of course if your job doesn't require any necessary contact with clients. You're right if you mean cleaners at the airport or baggage loading workers of aircrafts, etc but that's not the kind of work I do. Since I deal with passengers it's mandatory (stated in the contract) to speak at least 3 languages which are English, Dutch and French. I speak 4 languages fluently. I work for an airline company by the way. Even at the Starbucks of the airport employees MUST speak the above mentioned 3 languages. I'm talking about the international airport, not any other place in Belgium. FYI, Dutch and French because they're the 2 most spoken official national languages of the country (German being the third). France might have a different approach since they only have one official national language which is French. One last thing, English is mandatory for employees not passengers.
