Devon was never a good or natural trash talker. He mistakenly thinks trash talking is being indecent and disrespectful. thats not trash talking. Trash talking is supposed to make your opponent feel inadequate or embarrassed. Its not supposed to be mean or genuinely hurtful. Trash talking is an ART that requires WIT. Which Devon doesnt have. So instead he becomes mean, which anyone can do except they choose not to. Travis Bagent and Eddie are real and natural trash talkers. Want to see the real Devon? As a Georgian, i want to say thank you Devon for your work to be the great ambassador of Armwrestling. What is sport generally? Why is that important and interesting? - This is what Julius Evola wrote about it: "A nation that lacks national self-awareness, self-respect and pride... a nation that lacks the desire and ability to preserve its own blood, the characteristic features of individuality... that has no claim and desire to be first, better than others... A nation that respects others more than its own, is doomed to be defeated and disappear. What is sport anyway? Sport is an imitation of life itself - and the evolution of life is an eternal war. For example, the 4.6-billion-year history of the Earth includes the 4.5-4.2-billion-year history of life on it. Tens of billions of living species have become extinct during this time. They were defeated in a great, continuous evolutionary struggle with the outside world and with each other. The same thing happened to many species and subspecies of humans (genus Homo) or hominids. And then, during the 300 thousand years that Homo Sapiens has existed, thousands of human tribes and ethnic groups. They were defeated by time and by the Mother Nature. We, Georgians continue to fight under the most difficult conditions. War and competition are a constant part of life. War and competition, like gravity, are a fundamental laws of the universe. As long as the earth revolves around the sun, as long as there is cold and heat, storm and sunlight, there will always be battle - including between peoples and Nations. If people lived in heaven, they would be degraded. Mankind has evolved into what it is through struggle, becoming the top predator, the top of the Earth's food chain. War and competition are natural, common things. War and competition are eternal and omnipresent. It has neither beginning nor end. War and competition is life itself. War and competition are the innate condition of humanity. Ernst Jünger noted: "As long as we have a youth, that is based on everything, that is strong and masculine - our future is guaranteed!".
