@sanhtu77
@sanhtu77 6 күн бұрын
Devon was never a good or natural trash talker. He mistakenly thinks trash talking is being indecent and disrespectful. thats not trash talking. Trash talking is supposed to make your opponent feel inadequate or embarrassed. Its not supposed to be mean or genuinely hurtful. Trash talking is an ART that requires WIT. Which Devon doesnt have. So instead he becomes mean, which anyone can do except they choose not to. Travis Bagent and Eddie are real and natural trash talkers. Want to see the real Devon? Watch his armwars match with Travis Bagent. Thats the real Devon. He tries too hard to be something hes not.

As a Georgian, i want to say thank you Devon for your work to be the great ambassador of Armwrestling. What is sport generally? Why is that important and interesting? - This is what Julius Evola wrote about it: "A nation that lacks national self-awareness, self-respect and pride... a nation that lacks the desire and ability to preserve its own blood, the characteristic features of individuality... that has no claim and desire to be first, better than others... A nation that respects others more than its own, is doomed to be defeated and disappear. What is sport anyway? Sport is an imitation of life itself - and the evolution of life is an eternal war. For example, the 4.6-billion-year history of the Earth includes the 4.5-4.2-billion-year history of life on it. Tens of billions of living species have become extinct during this time. They were defeated in a great, continuous evolutionary struggle with the outside world and with each other. The same thing happened to many species and subspecies of humans (genus Homo) or hominids. And then, during the 300 thousand years that Homo Sapiens has existed, thousands of human tribes and ethnic groups. They were defeated by time and by the Mother Nature. We, Georgians continue to fight under the most difficult conditions. War and competition are a constant part of life. War and competition, like gravity, are a fundamental laws of the universe. As long as the earth revolves around the sun, as long as there is cold and heat, storm and sunlight, there will always be battle - including between peoples and Nations. If people lived in heaven, they would be degraded. Mankind has evolved into what it is through struggle, becoming the top predator, the top of the Earth's food chain. War and competition are natural, common things. War and competition are eternal and omnipresent. It has neither beginning nor end. War and competition is life itself. War and competition are the innate condition of humanity. Ernst Jünger noted: "As long as we have a youth, that is based on everything, that is strong and masculine - our future is guaranteed!".

I think whoever said it (cant remember) other than Brian mentioning it is the table itself. That is the biggest obstacle it seems. He can't get down like the much shorter Eddie. It kinda reminds me of Brian and deadlifting where he couldn't do traditional stance deadlifting because his size and had to widen his stance. Im not familiar enough with arm-wrestling so I dont know if changing the table as bigger guys are coming in is possible for various reasons. Like tradition? Idk.

Wasn’t Brian supposed to roll over Eddie? Thought Brian had more prep time and was favored heavily…? Genuinely asking, as I wasn’t following closely enough. Not trying to give anybody a hard time, just genuinely curious if somebody can fill me in as to how it played out. Cheers

R1 Eddie got a win on fouls. The other win for Eddie was in straps. I don't remember exactly how it went as I was dead tired watching. Eddie was moving quite well on the table, for the amount of time he trained. Brian just seems too big for the table, a bit like Vitaly and Levan, but ofc without he technique. I the end Brian was just too strong for Eddie.

I'm certain you'll get a left handed title shot in the future. But if Vitaly is available, he should definitely get the title shot and the winner of that should face Alizhan.

I paid for the PPV. It was worth every penny. I'd love to hear about being the giant dudes into the sport.

I said it from the start. While Brian is the favorite, Eddie learn new movement patterns impressively fast, quite the athlete.

Да, Эдди - Брайан это был самый зрелищный матч, далеко не все профессиональные армрестлеры такое шоу могут устроить.

Devon, do you care to comment on your highly inappropriate comment to Eddie and Neil about kitty P@rn during the match? Honestly, we love you Devon but there is no need for this in our sport or anywhere for that matter. I really enjoyed the recent interview you and Jodie did talking about the issues of human trafficking…so that comment really took a lot of us by surprise. I’m not judging you but I think you know that these types of comments just don’t belong. Time to regroup champ. ❤️

We all know it was the coolest match because of who they are. Eddie was really the exciting part. Hopefully Brian trains and gets a real puller in the future. Unfortunately there isn’t enough money in the sport to keep Eddie interested IMO.
