My morning was spent with farming her blueprints and then I spent 3 more hours to get enough pearls for making the parts and then the main blueprints. Also planning to get the gun, which has a name that I cannot remember its unique mod as well. Not sure whether I should get some platinum and then trade it or just simply farm the pearls though. Maybe the latter is more worth it, simply because currently it has a bloated price tag like Sevagoth Prime had (on day one Sevagoth Prime was tagged at least 200p, the biggest price I saw was 500 for the set)

Decrees Koumei doesn't get : All spiteful, (red ones like -50% weapon damage but add 600% power str) Baneful harmony (cold/ toxin to viral), Bountiful Harvest (double drops), Close Contagion (foes have 50% chance to spread them), Evasive tremors (rolling does damage), Fleet-footed (movement speed for each decree), Killer's confidence (melee kill for overguard), Lodun's rage (Fire to near by enemies), Luscinia's Suffering (Ice to bear by enemies), Nourishing Terror (Status effects restore health), Paragim's wisdom (3 extra decree rolls), Persistent Attrition (10% more vulnerable to damage per shot), Royal Wrath (each melee hit grants cumulative crit chance), Scornful cast (casting skills does corrosive damage), Serpent's path (while sliding do toxin damage), Toxic Approach (leave clouds of toxin) Tumbling Frost (drop frost explosions when you roll) there is an extra one that doesn't show up so not sure what it is, "Sythel’s Outburst" (included for Koumei but not in Duviri )

What I’ve been doing with koumei is using max efficiency and high range with about 200% duration. Almost all of the covalence archon shards work well with her too because she has access to almost every status in the game

I either have to be comfortable enough with the challenge to not end up playing less efficiently, or cancel it and lose out on building up decrees for a decent amount of time, since the ability cooldown caps at 150 seconds, according to the tooltip

I’ve seen someone complain about Kumihimo and Bunraku and how they lack synergy since the first requires enemies to walk into them/have enemies to be spawned on top of, and the other makes them stand still. As someone who just has about over 600 hours in the game, she's a nice change of pace. A decent primer for your weapons (I hate using primers and then switching back to my main weapon) and even though a majority of her decrees are mediocre at best, the challenges make the gameplay more interesting especially when I'm grinding away for 30mins+ in a survival mission. I do hope that the charms from her 3 didn't have 3 sec cooldown. It makes the skill pretty much unusable outside of the jackpot jjk hakari moments. In base steel path I actually prefer playing weapons platform koumei over saryn as she's got a more active playstyle thanks to the primer skills instead of saryn's boring weapon buffs, and also the decree challenges making me play not just the typical 'I jump around and shoot stuff'.

Using the mecha set on Komei might be good. Since Komei's kit doesn't need essential mods, you have spare mod space to get the full mecha set in your build which synergizes with her status inflicting abilities. Also, kubrows got more powerful as well as more flex slots as of the recent update so you can definitely run the full mecha set without taking out any dps from your kubrow which can now deal lot of damage

I know what you mean. I think the reason they made her relatively weak compared to the last few is that she's so early game. Just imaging giving a total unit like Dante to a player who has just 5h in the game xD She's very niche though. Lots of hating in the comments here for a frame thats a day old. yeah shes not gonna be the absolute best frame in the game or anything, but she has a lot of potential. the rng sucks yeah, but im not looking at that. The way i see it, shes a primer. With so many reasons to have a priming weapon in SP, this frame alone opens up the ability to ignore that and just bring weapons that benefit from enemies already being primed. I think the frame needs a little tuning sure, but the possible applications for this frame in a well set up team is going to be fantastic. Oh and as far as helminthing an ability, i feel like the third ability is just not great. Sure you can get that invulnerability, but id much rather have something there reliable like eclipse or gloom.

I just did a 30 min arbitration with my girlfriend using koumei and she did better than i did with a frame with a LOT more invested into it. I think people are just mainly butt mad that its not their playstyle, and that its a support frame rather than a nuking one. I really think the frame is solid and absolutely shines in a group.

Really fun frame to play as a change of pace. Shame her very nature means mods don't affect her drastically, but in some ways that can be a positive. I see Koumei as a neat new toy for both new and veteran players, and that's all she needs to be. It would be nice if some of the Airborne and Wall Latch Mods were better, since that's what you're doing 66% of the time during missions with her. It'd also be nice if her kit had some way of cheating out 6s under certain circumstances.. but I could also see that being an Augment.

@@starmoral5456 did I say she needs to nuke a tile? Her buttons aren't that good. Her 4 is a good ability. Good cc, good priming. You know what else is good cc and good priming? Nautilus. Her E is probably the worst defensive ability in the game. Her 1 doesn't really do damage, but it does prime. Epitath primes significantly better. The issue with koumei is only reason to use her over bringing a nautilus and using an epitath is the decrees and, there a lot of decrees that just aren't very compelling. I did a 20 minute minute survival with her and got 1 decree I actually like. If you like her design and like pressing her buttons, then more power to you. I'm glad you're finding enjoyment in her. Is she a top tier frame for 10 hour steel path void cascade? Sure! How many people are actually doing that?

Koumei is pretty good, and I feel like the ones saying she is not just can't play her. Personally, I hate her 2nd ability. I replaced one load out with Sickening Pulse. Add 4 green arcon shards (2 for corrosive stacks, 2 for extra toxin damage, then a yellow taufourge for extra casting speed. Secondary weapon I use epitaph, primary I can switch up as long as I have corrosive (I like burston incarnon), and melee anything viral, plus put on a panzer companion to spread viral. Arcane steadfast and Energizer for energy, then the rest of her build is up for grab, I balance things out, but I favor a bit more strength, enough range, and duration, with good efficiency. I also tried Kullervo's wrathful advance for a melee build, which is also fun.

Something fun is that archon mods work on her, and they work great. It’s basically the only way to force consistency out of her first and fourth but I’ve found it amps up the damage nicely (mainly continuity and stretch)

More concretely. Harmony is a monster with her,even without the random status, Torid as usual is best in slot but Tenet Glaxion works as a mini Torid. You can build her in basically any direction you want (I personally did a strength, duration, range split) and archon shards are pretty fair game what you like

Ooh I have an idea for Koumei. Put Nourish over her 3 for nigh endless energy to absolutely blanket an area in her 1. I almost have her crafted just waiting on the final product to finish crafting to test this out

i think she is actually fun, especially on the modding part - you could try to go for just stacking up ability strength to make her 1 and 4 really good - or go for combined archon shards and archon mods to captilize on all the status she will put out, the decree challenges are a nice distraction and on top combine it with something that capitilze on status stacks on enemies and you are good to go there is some randomness to her, but is not that significant ... at least at the moment

We need more mid to high builds without shards, hell I played for years, am rank 29 and only have a few free shards, none of my kids have shards, but are also not on basic builds.

Shards are almost exclusively QoL for mod capacity. While they do make life easier for long-term endurance (e.g. not having to slot Flow for extra energy, or upping her animation speed). But none of these are really necessary for normal Steel Path or long-term play, even through the new 1999 content. They help, sure, but the only thing you're losing compared to some of these builds is statistical advantages. You can still achieve most of the same content. (Plus, if you really want to level about it, there's currently around 7 opportunities for shards a week between the Sanctum Anatomica and Hollvania alone. Archon hunts are a guarantee but are no longer the defacto way to get them)

first off, love what you do Blacky, keep up all the good work second, I personally would run a crit based load out with condition/gundition overload capability rather than hybrid weapons, cause as you said, there's not a lot of crit chance Decrees, but plenty of status chance and crit damage ones, and even if I don't happen to get the status ones, that's fine because like with how I run my Voruna, Koumei is all the status primer I realistically need great work with your vids, i wish all you fellow Tenno out there the best, now lets go gambling

I said it before and I'll say it again: Koumei needs some sort of cheating mechanic to increase her odds of the triple 6. Her quest is all about cheating fate, yet her core mechanic is the exact opposite of that. Rig the dice, DE.

​@MHBlacky_ENG efficiency should be a chance to reroll in favor of or against (like advantage and disadvantage in DnD or BG3) so 175% efficiency = 75% to reroll each dice and take the best of the two. Or 45% efficiency doing 55% chance to take the lowest of two dice rolls. Makes builds more interesting.

i like how she feels but man her 2 just feels SO bad, like numberwise it has potential but that cool down feels awful and its infinitely worse feeling when you just get a decree for some on finisher proc she cant even benefit off most the time.

imo you can def impact her abilities, not as much as others, but range and duration def does a lot for her 1 and 4 imo

How I built her was more so around Range, Duration, and Strength. Range for the first and last ability in which does greatly on locking down areas. Duration for keeping up these two abilities, more locking down. Strength just to do more damage with those two abilities, plus the third ability that gives back health by chance of being hit. That's just my build tho, nice video, MHBlacky. Been watching your videos for a good bit, keep them up!

That sounds very healthy. Should work well ^^ I originally had the same approach and then in the last minute decided to drop the Strength because I had Arcane Reaper for the heal and therefore swapped Primed Vigor in for more max HP. Thank you also for the lovely feedback

I love Koumei I went with an Exodia contagion build with condition overload (I know the explosions don’t trigger CO, BUT, direct hits do trigger CO, prime with Kompressa, (heat/rad/viral/corrosive) then wrathful advance cast her 1 and throw contagion if I hit an enemy in the face I get BIG numbers

@@MHBlacky_ENG I have only 1 tau forged violet and I’ve hit an enemy for 188million once I get 3 more (because I’m using 1 slot for tau cast speed for when I use her 4, (use her 1 then 4 since it spreads to enemies behind her on a triple 6 roll) I should see like 300-400mills I have vigorous swap on her for more damage, and believe it or not her 3 isn’t so bad at least not for me can run Aviation exilus for less damage why throwing contagion in the air

base on the missions i get from 2nd ability it will be great if your koumei has either -wall latch duration increase mod -airborne duration increase -melee long range -shotgun that has long range and alot of multi shots or snipers, (best option i got is kohm and phenmor, tho not a snipe.. but still works) -duration, strength, (maybe efficiency? but if you dont reduce them i think its enough) and some energy economy(equilibrium or nourish or energize) and last but not least is that i dont see any openings on what ability to helminth (i suggest 4? tho its a good cc and nuke-y kinda approach, if its 1 it has a good status effects that will benefit you generally i.e. if a faction is corpus and you accidentally equip a weapon with corrosive..you dont have to problemize that coz the enemy will and i know they WILL have toxin, heat, and cold ... so good proc) choice is yours

Hahaha no I'm not disappointed about Tau. It's good that it's Caliban only. But the wording on the ability is weird. Saying "all" Status Effects when it's really only 10 xD

So koumei is the gambler warframe so now we have 3 things in warframe that relate to gambling The decrees from drivri (technically the circuit as well) Loid (which I call the arcane casino manager) Koumei (a warframe gambler) Side note: the five dices koumei uses with her abilities remains me of a gambling dice game lair's dice a dice game of RNG and misleading others to figure out what they have underneath their cup while keeping your own hidden
