I would say bp as a whole gets criticized a lot. Some explanation for a few of them -Many idols start their careers or training periods very young, Jisung from NCT at 12 and Jungkook from BTS at about 13. This means that they basically lost their childhood, they never got to experience it like the others, Jisung said he didn't have any friends at school and Jungkook couldn't spend time with his parents or friends -Almost all the EXO ones were referencing the fact that they used to have 12 members and now have 9. IIRC Luhan and Tao terminated their contracts and Lay isn't currently with them (that's why he said he doesn't want to terminate his contract) - Blackpink ones. You mostly got these but to be more specific, Jennie gets a lot of unwarranted hate. She get ridiculed over small things and often is judged. That's why their are many of her asking for the hate to stop. -The idol life for sure is a lonely, tiring and sometimes hurtful life. They are not allowed to date, sometimes not allowed to have outside friends and they can't visit family often. That's why many idols talk about how tired or lonely or sad they get at times. -The Wanna One one, they were a loved but temporary group. The plan was for their group to be together for two years and then they disbanded going their separate ways which led to many sad fans. Hope this was a bit helpful!

EXO, Blackpink, BTS, Twice and GOT7 have all been through so much. Slave contracts, starvation diets, getting 2-4 hours sleep a night, dealing with stalkers and "fans" selling your mobile number and flight information. All for a small cut of the money you bring your company, divided between 7 members or more (I dread to think how little NCT make individually). I don't think any amount of designer clothes is worth being an idol!

Exo was initially 12, 6 exo-k (sing in korean) 6 Exo-m(sing in mandarin), they joined as 12 to promote in Korea in 2013, in 2014 kris file a lawsuit to terminate his contract with SM bcos of lack of musical freedom and mistreatment by the company, in same 2014 Luhan filed a lawsuit to terminate his contract too due to health issues, the rest of the guys were hit with this issues and so much more in 2014 but they still manage to pull through and release another hugely successful album in 2015 , shortly after Tao's father release a public statement that he wants his son out of Sm entertainment due to injuries upon injuries that weren't taken care of, Tao eventually left in 2015, these 3 people that left are all Chinese so they went back to china and are now currently the most successful artists in china

Jisung debuted in NCT when he was 14 and was been in this industry since he was around 9/10 so he almost didn't go to school during his childhood and in fact after debuting in NCT he had to drop out of school even before going to High School, out of the NCT Dream members only of 3/7 graduated from High School ( 2/3 did online school to be able to finish their high school)

You should watch BTS's movies/docu-series, there they give some backstage scenes and the members are all interviewed. Their answers are really interesting and you can kinda see why they feel kinda lonely off stage. One of the members (I think Jimin) said that the difference is really big. On stage they have thousands of people cheering for them and then as soon as they get to the hotel its just them all by themselves which makes them feel really lonely!

The EXO story is that they started as 12 members who all went through a lot predebut and also after debut they were called Flop group and now they are one the biggest groups out there, they created this history all by their efforts and talents. Now when they started doing well(it all started in 2014 with GROWL also called korea's national enthem) 3 members Kris, Luhan, Tao left the group one after another because of some health issues and conflicts & mistreatment from the company(all 3 were chinese). Again they went through alot, then in 2016 Lay became the Youth Embassador in his native country China because of his huge solo carier there and became political figure. In 2017 South Korea and China had some conflicts and since then Lay is not able to participate in EXO activities but he is still part of EXO. They all miss each other so much and always support each others solo activies. Its sad how they are brothers but due to unwanted reasons they had to stay apart.

Lay is the only Chinese member left, it's difficult for him to perform with EXO cause he is "Youth figure" or something like that in China, and problems between China and Korea are a big deal, there are many Korean fans that don't want him in EXO, international fans want him to return to EXO
