Yes 🙌🏽 XG is an ELITE Xpop Group. Simon, “JAKOPS” sampled this song 🎧 from an OG Japanese Hip Hop Group “M-FLO’s song PRISM” that was released in 2001’. The RAPPER VERBAL from the TRIO was also included in the REMIX of “Woke Up”. Many older Korean’s and Japanese fans love M-Flo. Thank you so much for taking the time to react to XG’s new MV…I believe most of the scenes were filmed in BAY AREA, California. 😉🎼🐺💫🪐

There is also the question of whether XG is KPOP or not, but Korea has always been a Japanese colony, so everything is built on the influence of Japanese culture. When you go to Korea, it's hard to believe that so many things still have the values of the Japanese colonial era❤🎉 Therefore, it is impossible to conclude that Korean culture is Japanese culture. Technically, there is no doubt that KPOP is a part of J-POP❤

I just say it's not k-pop because all their songs are fully in English which you can't say about many or any k-pop groups, especially the ones who are signed to the big 4 labels.

Usually if I can watch you on Inkigayo and find you on kprofiles I call you an idol (even a group like katseye).

XG has made it even harder for me to get into k-pop because if any member of a group is not as good at dancing, singing and rapping as XG then I feel like I'm just wasting my time listening and investing into to their music.

K-pop is cute but ain't real music. Also, what happened to real music where people actually sang w/o auto-tune and w/ no lip-synching. but then, like Madona, some people like that 'strike the pose' music w/ what looks pleasing to their eyes. aka eye-candy music coupled w/ group line-dancing. It's nice to be an adolescent ain't it ms. yemidotcom?

You sound very ignorant because you have no idea what you're talking about. I can promise you most k-pop groups and Asian groups in general are more talented than western artists, especially in the pop and hip hop space when it comes to singing. The reason being is that in k-pop and Asian culture it's almost always a requirement that groups can actually sing live on a certain level that would make groups like N'Sync for example look like amateurs because they do a lot of live shows and guest on variety shows and music shows where they often are asked to sing on the spot. What you're complaining about is artists like Drake, The Weeknd, Jennifer Lopez, Billie Ellish, T-pain, Post Malone, Kanye West, The Pussycat Dolls, Katy Perry, Britney Spears etc who have used autotune a lot in their career or are known to lip synch very often.

@@goodfella1401 Haha ... you have your thoughts, and I have mine, and let's just keep it that way. Even Koreans lament how they are bombarded by inferior music nowadays. Btw, I personally know many heads of music companies that sign up these Kpop groups and train them to be formula-based robots. Let me put you on this universal knowledge that when you go past 94 bpm, there is no way you can sing and dance simultaneously ... believe that! 좋은하루 되시고, 또 부자 되세요!

...I'm almost 30 dude so can't really give you a rundown on what the kids do these days. I can tell you it seems counterproductive to start a discussion with hostility. I think all music is music it just may not be your taste and thats fair but genres in general are so big and collaborative that I think there is a song for every person in every genre lol. But that is just me and you don't have to agree. If you don't like dance-pop then I promise you I personally will never make you listen to it. But I do. 💕
