Soyeon crushed this. Especially in this segment, her vocals have that extra spicy sauce that goes hand-in-hand with her unmatched harisma. I would have to go with Lion as my top, a close 2nd is OMG, but Uh-Oh is the song I listen to most. It's a staple in all my upbeat K-pop playlists.

honestly, watching this made me a little emotional. i’ve been a fan of idle since the beginning, and seeing their journey expressed this way was heartwarming. it was also a little bittersweet considering soojin is no longer there, but i’m so glad u decided to react to this🤍🤍

Them being the first 4th gen group too must have been a huge honor I’m proud of them and their growth. Sometimes I feel they aren’t even a 4th gen group and count them as 3rd gen group because I feel they have accomplished so much and have been around for so long but in reality they did so much in such short time. I hope they know how proud we are as fans of them they are great and deserve all the praise Also kind of related to killing voice videos I really hope we do get more killing voice videos reactions from you when you have time of course but yeah I hope me saying this isn’t rude it’s not the intention I just really enjoyed your mmm killing voice reaction back then and enjoyed this reaction too a lot. Agreed! I'd love to see them return to styles like Hwaa again, it was my FAVORITE. I'm not too worried though, I'm confident they'll do concepts more in that direction. I'd say Nxde was kind of the middle ground between artistic and commercially friendly pop. But yeah! Hwaa was crazy though. On one hand, it had the most music show awards (10) until Nxde. But on the other hand, it kinda did get forgotten a little bit because the Soojin accusations came out a couple months after and we entered the Dark Times. 😥

Yeah I-dle is one of my top Gg. I love their voices and Yuqi is one of my favorite vocalist and possibly my favorite voice in kpop.

I think why I love Idle is, for example in this Killing Voice video, I can close my eyes and just listen, and I won't probably know if I'm listening to the studio version or live performance. They are so good! They always will be one of my all time favorite girl groups.

My path to picking a bias was a lot more complicated than yours 😂 But Miyeon gradually started to steal my attention more over the past couple of years, and then her solo album last year just sealed it. And my favourite title track has changed around a bunch, but now I'm pretty solid on it being Hwaa (with Lion very close behind) 🔥

Hopefully they will feel secure enough to try another "artistic" album for next comeback, perhaps this winter? After the hiatus, I understand why they felt they needed hits after hits as a do-or-die effort (and it worked) Regarding the raps, I think its because Soyeon is a better emotive rapper than she is a hype rapper

I'm totally with you on Lion. As far as title tracks go that shit cannot be beat imo. Its got vocals, rap, dance, and attitude. Miyeon's voice is fucking perfect to hold all of it together while Minnie can go off. Soyeon kills that rap intro too.

Since Lion is technically not a title track my favourite would be Hwaa. If we do count Lion it would be my favourite tho. If we talk favourite songs overall it's For You in first for me, followed by Hann (alone in winter) and then Lion. Also I 100% agree, I also want to see them go back to their more artistic music style. They've been my ult group from the time I discovered them until after Hwaa / I Burn. The whole Soojin incident already disconnected me a little from the group and ever since I Never Die I just haven't really been vibing with their music either. They still have some banger b-sides and I think especially the songs produced and written by Yuqi have been absolutely fantastic but nothing could beat their old songs yet.

Older concepts were so much better in my opinion, they were the ones that got me in to gidle. Lion was my favourite overall kpop song for a very long time and HWAA and HANN will forever be iconic to me (and I also agree with you that they were very underrated, especially HWAA). Older concepts were also a bit more mature in my opinion which makes it even better. Unfortunately, I don't think they will go back to those concepts, especially seeing how they skyrocketed in popularity ever since Tomboy :(. But for sure older concepts will forever be in our hearts :')

Nxde - To Prevent Child Pxrnography (Child in korean is similar to their group name i guess) (the animated girl is Soojin) Allergy and Queencard - About Soyeon and being judged for her appearance. (Due to kpop beauty standard, she's ugly) Personally , Soyeon is really attractive and talented.

'Oh My God' was the first song I heard from them ... I listening to Kpop music since 2009... but started from 3rd generation, Im felt not interested and got bored with samiliar style of their music... Gidle the only group that impressed me...they're really dare to try every genre and experiment with their music... and also have a variety of vocals, it sound so different with others group .. for me 2ne1 & BigBang is still the Queen and King of Kpop.. but Gidle my most favourite group.. they're are not just a 'kpop idols' ...
