i like all of them, but my favorite is giselle's dopamine. its totally my vibe and attitude. and i def get what you mean, giselle seems a little tougher to read personality wise. i think thats why i tend to gravitate towards her weirdly, it seems like she doesn't want her idol life and who she is in her personal life to overlap too much and i think thats why i like her

lol I had the exact same reaction to Spark - Winter's ethereal voice is just a perfect fit - but yea super biased as I went through college in the early 2000s and that track is super nostalgic. I love it.

I am glad to see more reactors appreciating winter's solo, I loved all 4 solos but I connected immediately with spark from the first listen. Like you said it could be nostalgia or just the kind of music I am into or I am just biased with winter 🥰. These 4 solos were released separately as a mini album so they won't be included in the Whiplash album.

I’m Karina-biased but my favorite solo is Winter’s Spark. This captures 2012-2016 edm perfection and I am obsessed! Being a previous clubber and raver, Spark is just gold as it evokes so much feelings. It’s almost ethereal

I love all the solos but Spark worked best as a live performance (just because of its genre). The giant stadium, the lights, the atmosphere - chef's kiss. There was also a brief silence (not part of the official audio) where the stage went black, just before the last drop, and it was EPIC!! Hope u get to experience it live!

I loved loved loved Giselle's solo and then the drop came and really sent it to the top of my faves recently. Also loved Winter's song. Really reminded me of all the festival trance-y house stuff from back then.

karina's solo got this performance video because it went SUPER viral that the director of MY ARTi FILM saw it and liked it so they chose the song for an episode in the series. for context MY ARTi FILM is a series in which every episode stars an idol/group for an acting gig where they also perform a song, though the full short film is only screened in offline events in Korea you can check the extended version of performance on mnet's youtube channel and after the solos were released hers went viral AGAIN and broke so many records in korean chinese japanese and even apple music and spotify global charts. truly a HIT!!

Spark is def' the best, it took down Run for roses from the 2024 #1 spot for me, and it's far better than any EDM song from the 2000s. Believe me I was in clubs at that time ;)

Giselle was involved in writing her solo song, so it's definitely her style. She's a huge R&B and hip-hop girlie. Personality-wise, she's the only introvert in the group. In solo interviews, she's still very soft-spoken and sweet all around. She seems more grounded than almost all idols, tbh.

Karina's the only with the film, cause the song is definitely a song that becomes more impactful with performance as a visual. It doesn't have the same impact if you just listen to it compared to other solos like dopamine and bored, where the song carries itself well. That said, production wise and just song wise in general, Dopamine was definitely a standout

I think UP is the only one with an extra performance because they were the only ones who went viral after their first concerts. There were a lot of tiktoks about it, a few idols did challenges with it even when it wasn't officially released. Then due to the popularity of the song, Karina got this extra dance performance. I think the solos were never supposed to be officially released (Same with the previous tour), but UP was too popular and it lasted for another 4 months, so they released a special digital album.
