Since you mentioned Chan’s vocals, what’s even more impressive here is that they filmed this shortly after he had some of his wisdom teeth taken out! You can still see a little bit of his swelling. It’s so impressive that he was able to do so well

I love when they do these One-Take performances, it always ends up making me appreciate the song more. "Scars" has really just been creeping up on me, and it has become a real contender for like my top 10 favorite Stray Kids songs. Since you mentioned "Voices", - for me, it gives off similar vibes without really being similar in sound. It won't top it of course, 'cause Best B-Side Voices™can't be beat. (WHY is the Trademark symbol coming up as a giant emoji?!- edit: nvm, display issue with browser I think.) I'm glad you mentioned how much they have really grown as vocalists since Woojin left, and I feel the same way. When he first left, I was afraid it would really bring down the quality of their vocal power and I was so happy to see them just rise above it. In hindsight, I firmly believe that him leaving was one of the best things that could have happened to SKZ. No hate or anything! I just feel like it really brought forth talent in the others that might have been overshadowed before. We now get to see what they can ALL do, rather than just 2-3 of them being "the vocalists" and no one else being able to show or develop their skills further. It has brought out the best in all of them, and it's so lovely to see them just keep getting better and better.

I think they’re get more lines because they are getting more confident in themselves. Lee know barely had vocal training at the beginning due to his short trainee period, so his lines were bare and mainly focused on dance. Also i.n and seungmin relied on wj for vocals back then, him leaving made them step up and train harder for the group, themselves and I think also for chan to lessen the burden. By doing so chan/3RACHA recognises their efforts, improvements and confidence and started to even the distribution more. But yeah, just my thoughts, love the reaction!

I don't know if you know, but as well as Mysterious Kitchen, Lee Know was a guest on four episodes of EBS's Best Cooking Secrets Studio. He had a brilliant rapport with the host chef, always asking questions and loving every dish they cooked together. She was clearly smitten with him from the start, but over the four episodes, they developed a really good camaraderie. Well worth watching.

@@KpopPrince Oh, no, he's been cooking for years. I think he's the only member who's ever actually lived alone, so he kinda had to learn then, and that developed into a genuine enjoyment. You can tell the producers aka 3RACHA studies their own voices and put them into specific part of the songs thats why they are so Unique. I feel like they put I.N's and Felix's voice into parts that makes the songs so so beautiful

I honestly agree with you when it comes to Seungmin being more confident. It's kinda the same for most members too. As time goes by and because of the encouragement they've been receiving both from each other and from the fandom, they are finally being more comfortable to show their skills. I think that's one of the most beautiful things to witness as a fan. They just keep on blooming.

it's been like a year since seungmin's braces actually ! he had inner braces first but then switched it to the front bc it was easier to sing in he said skz was the first group to feature here ! before they took on other groups. they even experienced hate at first bc fans of the channel was against a kpop group going here until they heard the vocals 😎

It was mainly because they were super impressed by their dictation or the fact that they sound really natural singing in Japanese. (I hear a lot of the time Japanese people have a hard time understanding K-pop artist singing in Japanese and it's also why only a few group's ever really make it in Japan)

Yeah, their vocals are insane. I really love to listen to every song of them /my taste in music changed a lot since I love them/. Their songs are so meaningful. These live performances were JUST AMAZING AS ALWAYS!!!

I love The First Take versions so much and artists do really shine there. Everyone was simply fantastic! But as Han and Minho biased, I was so happy to hear them there :,) love hearing Minho to sing more. If I'm not mistaken, Straykids, TXT and 2PM JunK (he's amazing btw) are the only korean singers that were there. Also my reaction to Seungmin's braces was the same :D

The mixtape oh release and the first take is honestly one of my favourite things to ever happen this year for me personally, I just love that song so much. Im looking forward to many many more first takes from the boys in the future.

The Slump video is one of my favorites I’ve watched it so many times, I love to watch Chan hype up before his part. In Scars I love how they can not stand still, all you see is elbows moving.

Yes Seungmin has braces, he was supposed to take them off this month but it got delayed.. He said it's difficult to sing with them on (but i still think he sounds so amazing)

Truly appreciate your reactions to the KDZ, thank you! Mixed Tape: Oh (or ea) was the first time that a Korean group sang in Hangul(Korean). It's a real honor for out 8 young men. And Scars, what is there to say, they have such a range between the different textures of their voices that this is only the beginning. Look out Kpop, Stray Kids are on the raise.... and going up, up up.

Yeah, I have the same worry as you about SKZ vocal line when Woojin left since he was the first person we think of SKZ vocalist, Seungmin no. 2 and I.N still developing. When Woojin left we predicted Seungmin taking charge of that role and Han/ Chan back up the rest which is true (the case of Neverending Story release after Woojin left). We also got the confirmation of Lee Know falsetto (Voices) by Chan before Levanter. After Levanter Lee Know, Seungmin, I.N taking more of the vocal part to the point Han and Chan back up some hard part. Hyunjin and Felix start having more line (excluding mixtape) these day, Changbin who Stay know sing very well (even before Masked thingy, he did sing in Survival Show and Vlive, he's rapping overshadow his singing so we also forgot about it) show some of his singing talent nowadays.

I think lee know is always been good, but they haven't explore or experiment with his voice that much. There's one stray kids earlier song that have lee know's part that i love so much, it's titled "3rd Eye" from their first album i am not. I think he really show that he's already a great vocalist there. You can watch lee know fancam from 98 florescence or checking out the recorded version (9 member) cause it's already originally his part.

I think when they debut, they were not at full potential. And you have to agree, vocal wise, the technic of some members is not the best. But as they grow, they gradually getting better and better. Only that their confident didn't grow as steadily. I think joining Kingdom is the best decisions they ever make. It boost up their confidence as you say. And they were less afraid to try more. People always complain about how the line distribution is not 'fair'. But fair rarely means equals. Why wouldn't 3Racha give Lee Know a single line in God's Menu? I'm sure it's not because they hate Lino. I was thinking, the decision process has more to it than what most people want to believe. If anyone know best about their own vocal, it's would be 3Racha. And if we pay close attention, Bang Chan gradually pulling back to give more lines to the other as they are more comfortable now with their vocal and he said in his VLIVE that he was the happiest when the other member shine. Like he was waiting for his kids to grow up and step out if under his protective wings... We see them as an artist the second they make a debut, but we sometimes forget how young they actually are. They have so much more potential and so much room to grow even more.

It must be difficult to sing with braces but Seungmin has adapted so well! And I get Voices vibes from Scars too, the raw emotion delivered through those soaring vocals and hard-hitting raps on top of the transition from minimal instrumental to heavy electronic chorus... both such great songs

I love how Voices always comes up 😅. It's one of my favourites too, I think it's highly underrated considering how beautiful it is. The first take vids made me fall in love with Chan ❤

Yeah they were very few Korean on the first take. Them txt and 2pm jun.k if I'm not mistaken. I know you do in general "just" kpop, but in your free time you should really watch more the one take. They have so many good Japanese and other Asian artists on it. Also their performances here sometimes even sound better then the original song 😂 LiSA, Yaosobi, Killing Bee, Hiro would be a few suggestions to watch their performances there. Especially LiSA and Yaosobi will blow you away 😁

Had to go back and check ahah: 1) Bang Chan’s underrated vocals (oh) 2) IN’s unique colour and him fitting certain songs/parts super well (scars) 3) Minho=hot warm cup of cocoa by the fire 😂 (oh) 4) Seungmin’s confidence improving post Kingdom (scars) 5) Not remembering Minho having hard melodies, but then when he was given the chance, him shining (scars) 6) Han being perfect in singing and rapping (general ahaha) 😅
