This is a really weird tank. In my best tanks for Tokens video, I said this could be a really overpowered tank. And in the correct situation, sure it can be. But overall this is a bit of a gimmicky weird tank...

Some of those shots remind me of the great German accuracy. Broadside ricochets are truly a hallmark of German engineering

I use vents, rammer, optics, (bounty) and rammer directive. 100% concealment on all crew, (camo rating 42/31) and I never use siege mode. I hop from bush to bush and farm the shit out of everything I see😁. Absolutely love this tank even when my team looses I still manage to get around 3.5k dmg out of that loss. For me this tank is all about sitting and waiting and sometimes flanking when my team is good. This is not a tank for everyone, but for those who know how to play it then it is absolutely OP. Thank you for reviewing my recently favorite tank Max and I agree with your opinion on this tank.

I actually like the fact that siege mode isn't straight out better and you have to think when to use it. The unsieged dpm is elusive and it was perfectly visible in the game on mannerheim line - those 2s gained on reload were constantly wasted on adjusting position and aiming due to lack of gun depression. Treat the sieged dpm as the normal one and unsieged as nice bonus to those situations, where you can use it (mostly enounters on flat ground or like in last game on Prokho - when you don't need to hide after shots and can sit in the open just waiting for enemies to get spotted.

If you look at it, it has the same crew layout as the swedish tds. Both the commander and driver can drive and aim the tank, thats also why they can go so fast in reverse.

In your last game on prok, I can't believe how fast your team are shooting. When I'm lucky enough to get this map with a LT and spot the bush side, half the teams take 10's of seconds to destroy tanks when they're lit - its baffling

I've been playing a lot of Leopard 1 lately, and 105mm of HE pen RUINS these things. Although angled, there's always a part of these that is not quite angled enough to deflect HE pens. I'd honestly never take this up against anything with an L7 gun.

I have a tip that'll improve your rng to almost Stalin shell guidance levels. You play the national anthem of the tank's country of origin or any piece of music from that nation (it has to be sung using that country's mother language e.g in French for the France surrender tanks). If you do this for a Russian tank Stalin himself with come be a commander in that tank while guiding your shells

For what it is i personally think that the STRV line in sweeden is much cheaper and more effective, for all those tokens you can get a Cobra which is much cheaper and better. Its just too situational for the game and the armor is sort of a quirk that is unrelayable. Good video and thanks for your efforts to grind this BP Max!

Can you do a video on the Popular Tier 8 Bonds TD T-103? Its a popular choice for Free to play players as a decent Credit Farmer & the Gun has some nice stats. It would be nice to hear your input on it.

People originally thought that you could do like the Kunze with the "skill-based reloading" hopping in and out of the siege mode to reduce the reload. But with the 3 seconds to get in and out of siege has ruined that idea.

Just seen the release notes for update 1.21.1, and in the known issues section it states "When mounting the Experimental Optics equipment, the view range value is rounded down", so perhaps some new gear is being tested that we haven't heard about yet?

@@georgekn3mp I thought I had misread the article, so went into the W.O.T. garage and checked the titles of each set of equipment, and sure enough Experimental is the latest dual purpose stuff. So perhaps some link to low noise exhaust or camo net is coming. I would be very surprised if it is Improved radio or C.V.S., which are the only other things in the vision class, as we have turbo with rotation, hardening with config. etc...

Bugger. I love the Strv S1 so I thought this would be a better extension of it, but the Projekt seems to be more situational.

That has some pretty amazing camo, better than some light tanks! Not quite 103B levels but on par with K-91-PT for sure. Which doesn't have as much DPM as the Kpz Pro 7 has....with better accuracy than the K-91-PT has. Now I am debating on whether to save tokens for this, as I love the K-91-PT and it's kind of the same play style.

I would get this tank if it didn't have one major flaw, it can meet the super hellcat which will completely dominate the kpz.

Every time I think about super HC I get mad at WG. They legit gave people a tier 6 tank with tier 7 matchmaking.

Glad you changed your mind about Cobra vs Prototyp 7 Max. As you say yourself, it's a gimmick tank and it's weird to play. Is Prototype 7 OP? Not in my world for its pure DPM do not over match the difficulty for the tank to adapt "naturally" in playing the tank on pretty much every map in the game. There are very few places where its gun arc works without its special ability. Comparing it vs a Swede T9 Tds is good choice as both have weaknesses where the Swedish T9 td sometimes requires you to over peak and you automatically become Pen. The second is that Prototype 7 does not fit into today's turbo games. Sure it has all the statistical data for this, although the tanks unique difficulty level makes it over the chart to become weird to play. My conclusion is, if you like the Swedish tds, you will like this one as its weirdness is equivalent to T8 Udes to T9 103 and gets its final solution as TX. Works best for me as a 2nd line support Med/tds and not been spotted as the tank loves to burn..

I'm a firm believer that raw dpm is nothing if you cant hit/pen your shots. I would rather fire slower if I am more likely to do damage

If you want to snipe, AND retain your camo net, while turning the vehicle, you'd be better off with the siege mode, because without it, the binocs, and the camo net nullifies if you turn the vehicle, but yes it does shoot faster without. thats the catch, you dont get all that dpm, without losing something else, and its not just some accuracy you lose. but afterall its a lot more usable out of siege mode, than its swedish counterpart.

I actually enjoy this tank. Granted I am only an average player. I just seem to have more success in weird tanks for some reason. It is everything you say it is and it works for me.

Hi. How would you comment skill4ltu video about track health, 2nd field mod and most importantly how the damage to the tracks is calculated and from what? Edit: if it really is alpha damage directly, then the 400 health on tracks is not very useful, it should be about 500 instead?

but the regarding the tank in hand, yeah, that is what i thought, people will tire of this tank very fast. just too much of a hassle. one more funny thing is, that in the siege mode you gun soft stats are much worse, than they are outside of it. but i guess it does not matter in the siege mode much. but i think tortoise is op in more situations, than this tank can be.

I broke down and got it.. and so far I don't mind it. I plays better than a Strv, esp in Seige Mode, but it DOES flip easily.. just like a Strv lol

You have to play more than 1 season of the battle pass.

​@@hansclimaco4515 you have to spend Battle pass points in every season. Battle pass tokens can be transfered to next season. This year has 3 seasons and you can transfer tokens in between them. You have to spend them when season 3 ebds, somewhere in november.

what wargaming is: shoot only gold munition or you want pen much less get premium or you run out of credits. play only with special equipment - so buy wot+ get a special experienced crew or pay money to level it up conclusion: get forced by wargaming to put money in the game. be the slave of wg or dont play it. and dont cry when you lost your soul and money and wargaming says you get a bad matchmaking and you are not allowed to pen or hit something. 🙂
