What a wonderful island. Thanks for sharing. You said there was zero crime on the island. That is literally beyond my comprehension. But, I can imagine :) Thanks again

Hey Aorn & Darren, Thanks for showing us Koh Klang. Love those hand made wooden boat souvenirs. Not much eating going on......you must've been starving when you got back ! Was watching some of your old videos......didn't realise you used to be a stand up comic ! 👍🙏 Jim.
@darrenb36 жыл бұрын
Yes, enough time to eat unfortunately, we were trying to beat the weather. 10 minutes after we got back to Krabi Town a big storm hit. You're right, we were rather hungry :) Yes, I was many things to many people in the past ;)

What a great insight you gave us by going into a local school. I thought you may have a hidden talent and would recommend you to teach English but you let it slip out that you have already worked in other schools. In any event great video, thanks for sharing and Best Wishes.

Hi Darren and Aurn. Your best video by far. Really enjoyed this one. A real good mix of everything. Its easy to see that you are a teacher. The children at the school interacted with you so well. A really old and beautiful little island. Would love to go there some day. Many thanks

Thank you Darren for another wonderful vdo of local life. I've been to Krabi and other parts of Thailand. I miss Thailand very much. How long have you lived in Krabi now? Is Aorn originally from that province?
@darrenb36 жыл бұрын
I remember that feeling of missing Thailand, but I found the way to fix it ;). I moved to Krabi on April 10, 2012 and have been here ever since. Aorn is originally from Surin in the northeast.

Hey Darren and Aron Love you lasted vlog. Looks like the real Thailand. I do miss it already but was surprised at the price of the dress. 😳Thought 500 baht was a bit much
@darrenb36 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mark. In Thailand, like everywhere else you get what you pay for. We were very happy with that price for the quality of the dress.

Walk along the river, the boat people will approach you. Anywhere near the black crab statue, or any of the piers.

Yet another top class video - so informative. Saw a garment with a swastika on it - nobody would wear that in the UK. It would be illegal in Germany. Could you tell me, do they still make wickerwork handbags etc in southern Thailand? Many thanks to you again. We thoroughly enjoy watching your videos and best wishes to you and the family.
@darrenb36 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. The swastika is a sacred symbol in a number of Eastern religions, with a history dating back thousands of years before its modern use. It's fairly common to see them in Thailand. Yes, there are still people doing wickerwork in southern Thailand, the products are readily available here. Glad you enjoyed the video, wishing you all the best too!

How much was the tour guide mate? Worthwhile explaining about OTOP (on tambon one product). Great vid!!!
@darrenb36 жыл бұрын
Thanks :). The tour was 400 baht, including guide and transport. I have explained OTOP in previous videos, but didn't think to do it in this video for some reason. Thanks for watching and commenting, glad you enjoyed the vid!
