The peace and tranquility of your simple life with Damo and your boys comes shining through. As for CBD, I discovered a CBD drink sold in supermarkets in the UK and this has now replaced my evening glass of wine , not only that, other members of my family now enjoy it including my 87 year old Mother! And it's much kinder to the body than alcohol! Lovely episode 😊

Thank you for supporting the content by the way Dawn, and it’s always nice to know that others have discovered the benefits of CBD - as someone 7 years sober it’s my treat like you say 🙏🙏
I just got back from Thailand, I already live in paradise, Hawaii but Thailand is the real thing and can teach Aloha in a grand scale. I stayed in a small village outside Yosothon and had the time of my life. Also traveled to Chaing Mai, Bangkok ,Muey Doung ,Simple life good people and great food everywhere. No scams no danger

I too have a special relationship with plants and have my whole life. I used to go down to the store as a child and take the half dead plants they where going to throw away and bring them back to life. Now I have passed down the love of plants and gardening to my son who is 28. All those trips to the nursery paid off. He is now a better gardener and much more knowledgeable than I am. He grows some great organic ganja and is now teaching me his ways!

This is all very interesting... I grew up with no bathroom and no running water...we burnt coal and wood for heat until the gasoline came through...we also had cows,pigs,cats,dogs,two gardens,fruit trees...all kinds... Then my uncle and father had a big truck patch to use and sell. My mother canned and froze everything...my father hunted and trapped .. In the fall that's when farmers were still in the fields till November or December...we would walk the fields for the dropped corn for the cows...I was young but I remember. We never had Boughton butter till I was out of high school.. I know what simple hard work is but it's a way of life ...surviving

I like this concept that people in your village still keep from passing by selling or exchanging food for rice or other products. This really helps people who can't go to the market. Your property is becoming an increasingly peaceful and pleasant place to live. Perhaps in the future, it will become a beautiful resort(Damo&Ryan Resort). Absolutely beautiful footage you captured of the flowers opening and closing. Unique moments of Damo and you preparing food with so much affection. Otis and his a little friend helping with household chores. And since you mentioned the smell of everything around you, it must be a very enjoyable and happy life indeed. I did not see your mom. Did she go back home? Very nice and lovely video, brother. Have a good night, and always be strong and healthy. ❤️

Damo, thanks for the description of how the betel tree is pulverised and dried before chewing. Fantastic older woman keeping up tradition. Ryan I think the working as a steward in God's creation is one of the best things to do in the world. No wonder you have that overwhelming feeling of completeness and well-being at the end of a totally fulfilling day. Otis was so excited about his new craft work tools for his schooling. I entirely agree wiith you about the use of all plants for medicinal purposes. This is how medicine started in the first place and each plant has its own properties for different ailments. It is regretable that big pharma took over and synthesised everything, forgetting the power of natural remedies. May God continue to walk with you in His wonderful garden and bless you all 😀🙏

I definitely think there is something satisfying with working with your hands and getting them dirty. Working in the garden yesterday and by the time I had finished, I was aching, sweaty and dirty - but felt like I’d achieved something. Long soak in the bath n a beer afterwards topped it off 😊

Great Vlog. Yes, as you say it's just the ignorance with the Marijuana. Marijuana being so well known and illegal in most other countries. I think it's difficult for people to get their head around the fact that it is legal in Thailand. Which is amazing!!! But good on you for teaching the boys about the properties in the plants, and some of the effects. Won't be such a temptation for them to find out then.

The village life. Being from America, there is nothing I can compare the culture too, really. We lost that concept decades ago. I do find it somewhat comical when I see an older Thai in the village working skills handed down through generations with an iPhone and ear buds! LOL The pigs are fine. Most people only know the breeds seen in movies or on farms in Western areas. We have 50 feeder pigs currently on the farm. But I think I will look for a breeding pair of Vietnamese Pot Bellies to add to the farm. Like you, more for a pet than anything else. I have been told they are also good for keeping snakes away as well. Medicinal plants come in all kinds and have many uses. Some are abused, which is what most people hear about. The environment you are providing will enhance your families ability to understand what is beneficial, and what is not. Good stuff!

Here in California, marijuana has been legalized at the state level but it's still illegal at the federal level. Californians are allowed to have 6 marijuana plants at their homes. You're allowed to possess up to an ounce (28 grams) per day.

These 'day in the life' vlogs are my favorite! Such an incredible, blessed life you all have! Your hard work shows. I agree with you that the most judgemental people are usually the most ignorant ones! Damo, you and Ryan are AMAZING parents and this shows by how incredibly brilliant Otis is! Hopefully those ignorant ones can learn something from you and not be so ignorant!🧐🤔🤭 P.S. I have heard many, many stories of people who Kratom has saved their lives from terrible addiction. Plants were given to us by God for a purpose. We just have to have the correct knowledge in how to use them properly. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences with all of us 🌏🌎🌍🌟🙏💝🛐!

Will unsubscribe to your channel unless you comeback to the person that was on a path to spiritual happiness and evolution. Love your kids (now that you have 2), love your wife (amazing lady, you are a lucky man) energy but you have lost the initial wisdom (in my opinion) for your tube channel. At the start, just listening to you, a certain sharing and peace true your life experiences was a learning and soothing moment. You were calm, composed with helpful insight and a humility to be humble on your downfalls and mistakes in your life. Now, your channel is always to get attention and hits to get money (titles so exaggerated). I understand you need income with 2 kids but should you not stray from your spiritual journey.
@lifeinruralthailand Жыл бұрын
I think it maybe best to unsubscribe, we only represent where we are at a given moment, our titles never have naked women or sexual innuendo and they are always true to what happens in the video. They are to be taken with a sense of humor. Spiritual is subjective, life is spiritual in all of its beauty and tragedy. The old lady in this vlog and her laughter is spiritual, see my latest vlog where I discuss Jung and McKenna. We will not change to what others request we will be as we really are and that authenticity is as spiritual as anything else.

Your heaven-on-earth is temporal and bar none. Your Eternal Life in Heaven is the most important decision as….. you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. James 4:14 If the choice for Heaven through Christ alone is not made before the last breath it will be Eternal Death in Hell. And in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’ Luke 16:23-24 and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 13:50 and will cut him in pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Source: bible.
