I have a bunch of synths , both analog and digital. This is the best sounding synth I have ever heard. Period. It's my next synth. If you listen to DSI and all the other big boys and then this... forget the metal cases and high prices, this synth sounds better.

The one part of the demo where it sounded like tight pizzacato strings reminds me of settings I've created with my Korg Mono/Poly. Very nice!

this instrument is made for all kind of music..so it cant be like old analog keyboards...and its very good for live :) I play jazz funk and progressive metal...soo its rly adaptive :D! Ty.

Excellent demo..... XLR input....nice. But subtle tube sound changes not coming through on my end and know live tube sounds sweet so hearing it on youtube is not like playing it even though Rich will make any Korg sound great....

Love the idea of the tube. Filters sound good. Oscillators have beef when layered enough. Thought the PCM samples kind of sounded general/boring (prolly as they should) , but overall the synth seems like a Monster....

Pitch control is one of the hardest things to master on the fucking keyboard. Compare Jordan Rudess' pitch bending to other people who try to do it and tell me it's just "Pitch Bending". The sick Vibrato effects and tones you can get from Pitch Bending gives a whole new meaning to Keyboard playing. If pitch bending didn't exist, metal keyboards wouldn't exist.

Cool synth. Probably costs way much more than it's actually worth, The Microkorg XL's suggested retail price was $750 when it came out. The whole thing is made with cheap, brittle plastic with easy-to-snap-off knobs. I would say it's actual value is around $129.

From the sound of it, the KingKORG isn't bringing anything new to the table. In fact, I would argue that my Radias Rack sounds more interesting and has a much better user interface. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those analog purists who thinks all virtual analog synths are poor substitutes for the real thing. The KingKORG would have sounded great back in 1995 when the Nord Lead came out. It's just sort of ho hum in 2013. There are better and cheaper VAs out there (especially in software).
