Enjoy this episode of Kraft Suspense Theater, the Award Winning Television Suspense Drama Show that ran from 1940 - 1962. Many stars and writers got their start on this radio thriller show which was well written, directed, and acted. With plenty of intrigue and action, these radio plays are some of the best.
The Kraft Suspense Theatre is an American television suspense drama series that was broadcast from 1963 - 1965 on NBC. Sponsored by Kraft Foods, it was seen three out of every four weeks.
Later syndicated under the title Crisis, it was one of the few suspense series broadcast in color. While most of NBC's shows were in color then, all-color network line-ups did not become the norm until the 1966 - 1967 season.

Martin Milner and Richard Long!! I love them both, great show. I remember watching this show as a child but had no idea it was in color. We had black and white till the mid 1970s.

In the summer of 1965 my Dad was stationed at Norton AFB, we lived in San Bernardino Red lands, CA. I was 2 years old at that time and was playing in our yard at home and jabbed a stick in my right eye, ended up having to go to the hospital at March AFB, I can remember my Dad coming to visit me wearing his dress blues. So Dad retired DEC/71, we moved back to the Wright-Patterson AFB area, where Dad had been stationed before Norton. Wright-Patterson AFB was Strategic Air Command at that time, before moving to Minot, ND. We lived about 1K south of the runway, and when the B-52's flew right over our home, it looked like they were flying in slow motion, and everything would vibrate, and if Dad and I were outside talking, I would just be talking away, and look up at Dad and he would be shaking his head and smiling from ear to ear. You might as well not say anything for about 3 minutes. I sure miss those days, and I miss my Dad so much, he was the best Dad ever! ❤❤❤

Great episode. Martin Milner's acting was always a bit hammy to me, but this was a really good role for him. And the aerial photography was excellent, not a bunch of incorrect aircraft clips as is usual.

That took me back in a most delightful way! I was stationed at March and recognized that entrance ❤. I just didn't do well as a female plumber. I should have been more selective 😊

Those pilots were right on point. And the second in command proved himself worthy for his promotion. Boomer filled the empty tank with gas and saved three men! Kudos to the USAF.

A lot of the episodes look like they may have been in the 1950s. This series was produced in the early 1960s so a lot of the Styles and scenes are very similar

My father was in the 307th, at Lincoln AFB, NE. The base closed in 1965 and the squadron was disbanded. He then went to MATS / MAC on the C124 then C141. The B47 was a problematic plane that killed many of our Airmen.

Gee. Goose Bay sure looks a lot like March Air Force Base! I haven't heard that classic Johnny Williams theme in a long time. It's a great grab for the series. Milner was 33 years old here and made this after the conclusion of his 5-year stint in "Route 66." He was in many other TV productions for three years after this, and then he became "Pete Malloy." His first credited movie role was at the tender age of 15 in "Life With Father" starring William Powell (54), Irene Dunne (48) and Elizabeth Taylor (14). Thanks for posting this!
