I have admired Dean Jones acting since seeing him in Disney films when I was growing up. He is more than just Disney material. A jack of all trades. The actress is lovely 🌹

Yes. Well Dean Jones was primarily known for the light-hearted Disney rolls, he could play a wide variety of characters. It's good to see him show up from time to time and different series and movies

the comedy jazz music sounds very familiar, like I heard it before watching this episode. Sounds like Henry Mancini or from a Jerry Lewis movie (Walter Scharf) But John Williams, who composed the Suspense Theatre theme music was also a jazz musician before his film and TV career.
@kjaristabusch69014 ай бұрын
@@HadenoughEnt Johnny Williams played piano for Henry Mancini and is featured on some of the recordings and film scores like Peter Gunn. I agree with @allendyer5359, it has strong hints of Mancini.

Aaaand this is the 4th one I've tried to watch. The video is so blurry and distorted I can't even see the actors' faces. I've tested my laptop by streaming other videos on KZbin and they are perfectly clear so it must be your channel. Perhaps these are recorded on old VHS tapes? Is anyone else having the same trouble? What a shame. Thanks anyway.

@fredericklmeade29474 ай бұрын
@@amcguigan2389, you are wrong. It’s not at all how they appeared. 🙄 The original quality has been intentionally degraded by someone - likely to avoid the chance of being in violation of copyright restrictions and having the videos removed. You seem to assume that people were watching and tolerating blurry television in 1964, when, in fact, they were not. It was not HD (that was not introduced in the U.S. until the 1990s and didn’t become standard until the late 2000s), but it was perfectly sharp and clear, so long as you had good reception or cable. (And yes, cable already existed then too. It was introduced in 1948 and by the 1950s there was already a cross-country transaxial cable for transmission of programs from the East to West Coast.)

At Universal Studios, in almost every movie and TV show, everything on set had to be lit up! In the 1964 remake of The Killers, which is supposed to be a noir movie, they even lit up the waste basket under a desk.

This one's definitely a good notch or two below the quality of the other productions of this series. Disappointing, and all too typical of so many sitcoms and zany TV productions of the 1960's and 70's.
