If he looks uncomfortable and is not very forthcoming, bear in mind that, in its heyday, Kraftwerk was a reclusive band and generally did not grant interviews. This lady is merely doing her job, but she's thrusting the microphone in his face and asking questions of someone who believes that the music speaks for itself.
@ballscrusher44 жыл бұрын
i'm laughing my ass off at this interview because you can tell how he's intentionally giving the vaguest answers beacuse he's so uncomfortable, the reporter has totally leapt the barrier of enigma kraftwerk have always tried to keep up so he just deflected everything with the simplest and most bizarre answers possible "do you like brazil?" "yes, we stay here forever" "are you making a new album?" "yes" "what songs are you going to play?" "all"
@ells1013 жыл бұрын
She's not 'merely doing her job', she made a complete arse out of the interview. I mean, how are you going to have a conversation like that being so disconnected with your subject. Plus the questions all illicit yes/no answers. Seriously she's one of the worst 'interviewers' ive ever seen. She would probably learn well to shut her mouth, stick to presenting and stay in the studio than asking completely asinine questions to people who RARELY give interviews. She was pretty deplorable.

You should all feel lucky about not understanding what she's saying in Portuguese because it's even more embarrassing. She's making some mental and verbal acrobatics to try to stay "cool" and "hip". For example, she begins the interview by saying "Florian Schneider is here on the computer surfing on the internet with a cyber girl". Then she keeps repeating at each of his monosyllabic answers that that's their style, they act and talk like robots. The cringe is so real it hurts.

Not everyone wants to use each and every chance to talk and talk. He's a very content person, from what I've read I know that Kraftwerk produced all the albums themselves, because they didn't want fame, money or reputation.
