Thanks to the overwhelming natural beauty of the area you covered and your stellar photography, I found myself crying almost uncontrollably throughout the hiking portion of this video. Let's just say because of other commitments and forest fires, it's been too long since I went backpacking in the Sierra. For a minute, I felt disappointed when the hiking portion of the video ended and you switched to being a talking head, sharing some details about your business and personal life. But the details were interesting, and thanks to the photography and your applying your minimalist philosophy to your presentation, it remained interesting and felt genuinely respectful of my time. So, thumbs up for the whole video! You are such a class act, so genuine, competent, and likable. Thanks.

I often realized that im into these loops where i enjoyed youtubers but after a couple months or a year, i get bored or loose interest with them. And then it hit me when i checked it's been 3 years+ since i watched your videos and i knew what makes me consistently love it: i love your vibe. Not your contents. So even though you already make some changes along the way i always love it cause you always bring the best vibes to it that i enjoyed pretty muchh. Thank you kraig adams!

Kraig - I hope you can take a moment to reflect how beautifully portrayed this is from you. I am thankful that you are you, that you have this interest in hobby in hiking and filmning it and that you make it possible for me, from my bed in Sweden, to watch the beatiful and calming nature - so that I can be in the middle of it all. Nature is beautiful as it is, but it's nothing I would have seen if it weren't for you. So, thank you!

Ideal video format for me. I like the silent moody videos, but also appreciate the details / talking parts. Both together like this video is best. I also like knowing about the advertiser / promotion details. Most social media people don't talk about that, they try to hide it. Being open is neat.

New format is great. I agree doing a recap at the end is best. That was brave to be honest about two brands. Surprised they didn't have NDAs in their contracts. I see a lot of KZbinrs say they use products like that big popular green juice and then when you google the product to find out what's actually in it you find it's been slammed by so many scientists and nutritionists and it's full of bad things like lead. I understand creators gotta make a living but people need to research before they buy. A paid ad is a paid ad. :) Love your minimalism the most. When I go hiking I carry way too much.

If I'd known you were coming I would've warned you about those notorious summer bugs on the northshore during the summer. The best time is definitely in the autumn. No insects at all and nice cool temperatures plus the fantasic falls colors to appreciate. Also, the blueberries then aren't to bad either. I was feeling itchy just watching you set up camp along the ridgeline there. There are many, many much more beautiful treks in this region. These are just the easiest accessed trails and hence the more popular destinations of course which in turn get recommended more often. Good to see you in the neighbourhood. Cheers.
