100% In order of best to worst (for me). 1. TMP era 2. TNG era 3. TNG Movie/ Voyager / DS9 era 4. TOS era (for one reason) 5. Lower Decks 6. Enterprise (really disappointing hero ship). 7. TAS 8. JJ verse (awful but didn’t break the continuity) 9. Strange New Worlds 10. Picard 11. Discovery - 4 decades of quite well managed continuity thrown in the garbage bin.

Personally for me TOS designs just have not age well... they just don't look or feel right to me... tho personally I do like some of the new designs they have Stuff like STO's gegarin which is the revised Shepard class from discovery Or the Concorde class

A fine ship. My eyes were glued to admiring the deflector dish and how cool it looked during the forward view. Really like all the small details with all the not smooth hull plating configurations.

The Abbe Class Torpedo Cruiser....love this design and you've certainly done it justice here.

I agree it looks fantastic... But I'm pretty sure the Abbe class was not a Cruiser but a Destroyer. Though this is the Krakatoa, so depending when this takes place it might be a refit version of the Abbe and instead be a Fleet Tender. I believe the Krakatoa was the first to be refit under fannon to fleet tender status, making this the Krakatoa class standard. There is also a sensor dish version of the Abbe out there. I like the idea as I prefer this design to the old Saladin and Hermes one nacelle designs.

@@0xKruzr If you looked up the history of this ship, it was originally classed as a patrol destroyer, someone else made a sensor dome version instead of the original torpedo layout. In Beta Canon a early 24th century refit of the class occurred (starting with the Krakatoa) to turn it into a Fleet Tender later in its life to get more use out of them before retiring the class. A Fleet Tenders version of this class would not just be able to launch torpedoes but do things like launch and monitor large swarms of sensor probes at bigger things like nebula and gaseous anomalies for mapping and searching, and also do things like set up new or perform maintenance on existing subspace relays and also do resupply duties of smaller outposts (example, small Regula type stations and ground installations) and more remote ships with whatever they needed. In later 24th century I imagine the need for this type of vessel would be reduced, as the onset of full replicators would reduce the needs. But could see the use even then since not everything can be replicated and not everywhere had replicators.

This is beautiful, and I need more stuff like this in my life. In fact, I would say we could all benefit from having some corny, optimistic sci-fi in our lives. No more dramatically dark edgy crap. @@vortexCGI it is a rather obscure class....it's based on the Constitution class refit, but more tactically focused. The nacelle pylons are mounted further forward and *under* the secondary hull, the "neck" is thicker and runs further back, and there's a bit more firepower...there might be some more details I'm missing, but overall it's a neat design

@@vortexCGI Yeah I know that. We need to pray to the spirit of Gene Roddenberry if he is not sleeping with every female spirit in Heaven. Do you know why he named the original ship “Enterprise”? Because he was a WW2 Veteran and he knew the US Aircraft Carrier, USS Enterprise, was the U.S. Warship that had the most Battle Stars of our fleet and frankly, was probably the only Fleet Carrier that took it to the Japs after Midway and before we flooded the Pacific with the newly built Essex Carriers in 1943 to 1945. It was called “The Galloping Ghost” because the Japs had claimed that they had sunk it several times.

Who the heck thought of a Volcano for a ship's name😮. What next, Mt St Helens or Vesuvius. It has no logic in ship naming here as this was usually reserved for ammunition ships of the US Navy, which is where ship lore in ST is normal from🤷‍♂️.
