kramnik doesn't realize he's getting old and he claims that his opponents are cheating just because he doesn't see their moves. this is a crystal clear indicator that kramnik's mind and the chess mental benefits are giving up on him due to age. chess has also evolved a lot more due to engines and as a result many more moves, opening tricks and overall tactics were discovered. his calculation speed and precision were clearly worse than the young FM's. I don't want to be that guy but even though he has a gm title, kramnik is not a gm in today's chess.
@thewingedone117220 күн бұрын
I am big on clowning Kramniks delusion but to claim he is not GM level is absolutely out of touch. He is better than most GMs, he will crush easily at least half of gm population over the board and give a hard time to most of the other half. He is not nearly old enough to doompost him like this, he was still good enough to hit his peak elo in late 2010s inflation era and not his prime.
@Aerixes.20 күн бұрын
@@thewingedone1172 you're saying he is not that old but to me kramnik saying that others are cheating is part of his denial and acknowledgment of his age and he knows that these kids have very impressive calculation speeds and critical thinking abilities. And i kinda get why he says they're cheating. it's not a good look to be beaten by a kid who doesn't even have HALF of your experience in chess and it certainly doesn't feel good to be beaten by a kid. he's using the fact that there is a lot of people nowadays using engines to cheat and so he uses that as a form of excuse for his losses against these adapting monsters, he uses this excuse in a lot of games especially since there are a lot of impressive youngsters out there. I know it's a while back but take a look at kasparov's face when he was going against young magnus. i mean he just couldn't believe that the game was going towards a draw. Moral of the story: Truth is a hard pill to swallow and kramnik doesn't try to swallow the pill, he throws it away thinking it's poison

Kramnik is hurting his already shaky legacy. Although he's the guy who beat Kasparov, he became more well known for (1) being a very drawish/boring player, (2) being bad at matches and tourneys, and (3) fading out of the limelight. Vishy-- who was the 3rd wheel behind Kasparov and Kramnik for many years-- eventually eclipsed Kramnik in every way possible and single-handedly inspired a new generation of Indian chess prodigies. And, of course, then came Magnus. Does Kramnik really want to add "the guy who accuses people of cheating without good evidence" to his resume? Stop it man. Stop.

"In 2000, Kramnik defeated Garry Kasparov and became the Classical World Chess Champion. He defended his title in 2004 against Peter Leko, and defeated the reigning FIDE World Champion Veselin Topalov in a unification match in 2006. As a result, Kramnik became the first undisputed World Champion, holding both the FIDE and Classical titles, since Kasparov split from FIDE in 1993." So 6y world champ is not enough for you? This is an evolving game man, just like poker. A lot of top players in poker are not around anymore because they couldn t keep up with the game.Yeah he now has some mental problems with the cheating stuff which is ok because he was a genius at chess and every genius is a little nutz- even Einstein was. Sad how Kramnik is going out. Someone coming up with moves he doesn’t see in a time scramble isn’t grounds to call them a cheater. His ego has been misguiding him on his crusade, which is a shame because cheating is an actual problem.

He’s descended into madness, like Booby Fischer

I would like a psychiatric evaluation of Kramnik. He should propably be locked in for his own safety. He's just acting insane these days.

I’m a Bulgarian IM, I’ve played in rapid/blitz and this is another chess cheater in my opinion. I refuse to play online chess! Even some OTB chess is now very suspicious.

Peshka is so old now wow. He was a baby when I first saw him! He's a legend. Kramnik is a disappointment, as usual.

He played 2 quick moves when you sat for 20 seconds then takes time after 2 simple captures. Logics not there kramnik.
