Kraton Hot racing upgrade!

Hey guys hope everyone is doing well just wanted to go over the install of the front wheel knuckles from hot racing really solid and a must in my opinion for the bashing style I do hope u enjoy and once again sorry for the terrible no edit skills haha

That grub screw is what holds the pin in on that axle. Loosen the grub screw 1st then the pin will come right out. Do not do what this guy does.

I’ve come along way I used to be a scrub lol I build full on 1/7 drag cars and tune esc now haha thanks for not ripping in on me as I was still very new to the hobby !! Bash on bro and be safe

Great vid, bud. Just a heads up to anyone else looking to make this switch if you have a V4, make sure you verify the steering hubs you purchase are SPECIFICALLY designed to replace Arrma part number AR330403 if you have a V4. I blew $50 on the wrong hubs. Pretty crappy how they have the same EXACT part number. Other than that, definitely a great upgrade.

Just ordered my GT5 transmitter and receiver. Found it on Amazon for a special dirt cheap for $67 LOL i’m gonna put that in the new Kraton 6s and give it a test out.

Great video doing those man! I really like to look at those they look nice and those bushings look a lot better than the stock ones. And I heard that they don’t back out because of the rubber Seal inside

So I was trying to do this on my rears and I cannot get those stupid freaking pins out. Lol. So I just ordered 4 news one's and pins. Not giving up though. Going to Lowe's to grab a vice. 🤷😤 Like your video though, simple to the point.

Use a Butane torch, stick a allen wrench in the grub screw then heat the allen with the torch after its hot crack the grub screw open, you must have a lot of Loctite in there just like Rocky loving that Loctite lol, if you don't have a torch use a soldering iron, pins will fall out after that, when you done use blue loctite 242 not the red.

Dude, if you loosen the grubscrew in the axle, the pin falls out on it's own. Don't want to bother you, but it seems like you didn't know that

I didn’t know at the time and my local hobby shop was being rude haha thanks for the heads up man we pros at this now lol I got a full on dragster 5th scale now who new this hobby was so much fun
