Did a headlight conversion on my 2018 fat bob and wasn’t sure if I wanted tsport or quarter fairing so that why I had decided to go with the amazon just in case I didn’t like the look it didn’t hurt my pocket so much and well 1 1/2 year later it’s still on and holding on perfect

I bought the krator fairing from amazon and I'm 90% happy with it. I was getting a massive amounts of wind buffering, but I resolved it by installing a couple rubber bushings on the bottom part of the windshield. They do make a kit for the anti buffering, but I'm cheap so I did it with what I had. Total cost for me was 50 cents for 2 longer bolts. Works great!

I had the Harley version on my Dyna before my wreck last year, when I put everything back together I ordered the TCMT clamshell which is comparable to krator, Amazon versions are all the same.. I can’t tell the difference honestly. Aside from the little Harley Davidson decal under the headlight lens, it’s the same fairing 😆 save yourself the few hundred bucks. You can order the TCMT version with the brackets shipped to your door for like 140 bucks. All you need is a headlight spacer which all I did was buy a longer bolt with two 1/2 inch thick nuts and screwed them on under the headlight block.

@@ChopperFett it’s definitely not quite as thick as the Harley fairing, I will verify that. But it’s like I told my brother when I got it, it’s plastic regardless. It’s going to explode if the bike goes down, regardless of the price tag. Concrete doesn’t care about your money 😆

I don’t know for sure. The Standard does have the same headlight and 49mm forks the same as the Dyna. I’ve seen newer street bobs with it as well.

I've ran a Krator T-Sport fairing for two years. I pieced together my own, "Anti-Buffeting" kit with hardware from Home Depot and it works GREAT! I definitely recommend em!

49mm locking are 57400008. I’d try to find a set of nonlocking on eBay and then add one locking one as a cheaper route.

I believe so yes. You would just need 39mm clamps for it. Might have to remove any sort of Cafe Fairings if yours came installed with one though.

Hey there. Didn’t have to move it forward, just up so if you take it off you don’t really notice unlike the Memphis shades that looks goofy with it off. The bottom screen is held in with 4 screws so yea, they all come off

Thanks for the video! What is the major difference in the material of the fairings? Some told me, the quality of the cheaper fairings shows after a while, as they break due to higher speed. Did this also happen to u? Feel like usd 500 for the original seems a lil crazy though. Thanks for ur feedback

Hey JW, I think the screens on the tsport fairing are on the crapier side like you heard, but for the clamshell or quarter fairing I haven’t heard anything. In addition I think moonsmc sells cheap replacements should the need arise. Thanks for watching a classic haha.

KENNYTUBE DIVING so mine came with a bracket that did not line up with my forks so the bung king was used. I’ve heard of people bending and finagling the bracket it comes with to work but i opted against it. Bung King generally has great return policy so I would in your case attempt to mount and see what happens.

Hdforums says it will work with 49mm clamps but you’ll need longer screws and washers to make it work.

i have a krator road warrior type and im very happy with it side by side its is very close the the road warrior the plastic is thinner and the hardware isnt as nice looking but for the price there is no reason to get the name brand

The fairings were likely made in the same building. I've bought genuine Harley parts from dealership and inside the package on the bubble wrap had a made in Korea sticker. No lie

they use mold of the real products. so they look and feel the same. difference is the quality of plastic. a bird will hit the Harley fairing and bounce of were as the china will shatter into sharp plastic. if you dont get cut the sudden shock of the explosion will crash you lol

Yea that was one thing I did mention from the get go was the plastic seemed thinner and cheaper. I’ve since gone back to my Memphis Shades Cafe fairing. That would totally suck to desinigrate on impact. Dynas have enough issues haha.
