It’s so obvious that Kratos and freya are in love with each other. Despite their history and what Kratos “did” and as much beef as freya had with him, freya knows it wasn’t Kratos fault. Deep down, she knows Kratos did the right thing to end her son’s misery. Baldur brought it on himself and baldur was the reason Kratos had any involvement with him because of first he attacked Kratos at his home and then tried to kidnap his son. Freya couldn’t fix, help nor change her son no matter what she did. Obviously it was painful losing him and attacking Kratos was the only way she could grieve because deep down, it was her who put baldur in that state. After she came back to her senses and realize Kratos isn’t the monster she thought he was anymore, she starts to be friendly with him again. Then overtime she realize how much hell baldur has put Kratos and Atreus through and even she said it herself when they visited baldur’s dead dragon in Midgard and yet Kratos defended baldur and stated it was Odin who sent baldur. She realize that Kratos was indeed a change man and a good man who got caught up in her mess. Kratos truly cares about her and that’s great despite her trying to kill him. The more they spent together the more she feels some way towards him. Hell, Kratos owes her a child anyways 🤣

Hate myself for selling my ps5 less than two weeks ago. Purchased in spring for gow4/gowR, went back the play through gow3 as well. Spent weeks playing them all but uncountable play through’s with Ragnarok. Didn’t have to but who can’t use some extra cash these days and with the sequel or Atreus/loki spinoff years away presumably i thought nothing of letting it go and buying another or the next gen years down the line….. Of course less than a week passes and learn of this DLC dropping.. can’t figure out if I’m more angry or sad about it. All aside still was so excited to watch all the gameplay, cutscenes dialogue and study all the new lore and added features to the game and story. I know everyone wasn’t expecting such a huge amount of gameplay and fan service but i knew it would be something special and pleased to see I was right about something. At any rate-Please enjoy this very special early Christmas gift from Santa Monica Studios. I will watch everyone have fun from my phone for the time being while i shop around for my next ps5 😂

Kratos, a single dad, being oblivious as to why this woman who went on a life-and-death adventure with him and bonded with his kid, suddenly wants to get him a job at the same place as her while always standing strangely close to him and smiling when he says he's thinking about it, is the most he's resembled his GoW1-3 self, even more than when he killed Heimdall. Because just like in GoW1-3, he can't figure out things that are brazenly obvious.

Kratos was talking about himself and Mimir, clearly. At this point I don't see Kratos indulging himself into intimate relationships and it certainly doesn't make sense to be happening with Freya. They were most probably talking about Kratos becoming the new ruler of the Nine Realms and he is finding it tough to accept himself in a position of power again. That's what Valhalla is for.

I like this interpretation of Valhalla. Of course sigrun mentions the halls of the dead and fields of battle (like mimir mentions "feasting drinking and f..fornicating themselves silly.") Its a really interesting interpretation that the forever constant fields of battle would be pulled from the memories of those who enter Valhalla. How else would the Einherjar be better prepped to fight in Ragnarok?
