What if calliope became some badass demigod who some how survived and found Kratos again. I highly doubt that would happened due to how the entire Greek world was destroyed and it was over a thousand year ago

I think what makes Calliope so important in the story of Ragnarok was that it was the first time Kratos had gotten the chance to see a child of his grow up to be a teenager and become independent. He never got to see Calliope progress like Atreus had. It's sad, but also probably comforting to Kratos, like he's making up for a mistake. I do wonder how Calliope and Atreus may have gotten along if they somehow met.

I love how Valhalla gave kratos a chance to reflect on the games before the Norse mythology, really highlight how important those moments were to kratos development as a character. I wish they could had bought up Deimos in Valhalla as well

The song calliope played was the theme to the OG god of war...

Imagine Athena ressurected her and raised her to hate Kratos for abandoning her lol. Maybe she tries and kills atreus then kratos has to try and stop it, let her kill atreus or kill calliope.

I always like it when games remember the PSP ones, even when they didn't do so well.

Lets take a step back and appreciate. Kratos was able to hand carve a flute. Shows the wide variety of skills and trades spartans knew

I like to think Calliope has become the new god of the Underworld, after Hades and Persephone’s deaths.

Ironically, forgetting Calliope's song showed he was finally letting go of his past. Faye and Atreus gave Kratos a future to pursue instead of a past to mourn.

it would be fun for Calliope to help Atreus become a better god

I have a theory that the next DLC/Game will be Atreus trying to find the lost giants, and ends up taking the same magical ways to travel to other pantheons as Tyr did to find them. He'll stumble upon what's left of the Greek Pantheon and will learn about Kratos' bloodshed and why he performed such a heinous act. This will make him realize that his father wasn't just mighty with a stoic personality. But rather, a product of someone who had dealt a great deal of pain, which would make him question himself even more. Maybe in the end, as he gets past this internal conflict/learning about his father to continue his mission, he takes the wrong way back to the Norse Pantheon and finds himself in the mystical River of the Nile.

There should be a scene in the next game where kratos sees his first wife and daughter in some form or other. Like how he used to see faye in his dreams. I think it's a much needed reunion. Maybe perhaps in the next game.

That is one of the most traumatizing things the gods have ever done with Kratos. It really adds a whole lot more sense of why he hate gods so much. Really hoping Calliope found peace :/

God of War Chains of Olympus did one of the coldest things ever by making Kratos pushing away his daughter a quick time event! Mash ⭕️ to abandon your daughter.

Despite the past that he has repressed for centuries, he misses his daughter every day

I remember playing Chains of Olympus on the PSP, damn I still remember the part where you had to mash the button to make Kratos push Calliope away, Just heartbreaking

I hope that when the games officially end on a high note that our anti-hero of a father is finally given some sort of reprieve to enter Elysium to be reunited with his family

Not needed. Kratos is describing what happened in the game Chains of Olympus on PSP. Highly recommended you try that game even on emulator.

They should make calliope the villain in the next gow she wants to take revenge on kratos for killing her and having a new family and Athena actually the one to bring her back and train her to kill kratos, that will be a plot twist

Calliope should lowkey come back from the dead and be the villain in the next god of war. She leads an army of the dead to take revenge on everyone who wronged them
