The Masoukishin game exclusive attack upgrades are permanent as they are not bound by story(but rather by money). What you are talking about are the final attacks and only the final attacks.

They all do more damage than Cyflash and Psychoblaster (especially Granzon's), so I guess they make them hurt teammates to make up for the extra damage.

It's like, the attacks do no damage to people, and suddenly when it's over the small explosion at the end shows over 9000 damage and i'm sitting here like :|

Only Cyflash and Psychoblaster don't hurt teammates.

The upgrades here as Terada stated are not canon and is just for fanservice hence the final attacks being secrets.

is that the elemental lord of water? i did not know it existed. all i knew was the elemental lord of wind cybuster. and it shows. amazing mech though. i thought at first playing SRW - OG on GBA, valsione was also an elemental lord. but just a female version of a valsion mech.

The first Banpresto Original characters made their appearance in 1991, when "2nd Super Robot Wars" (the original, not the remake) was released for Famicom. Those characters were Masaki Andoh, Bian Zoldark and Shu Shirakawa. More than two years later, with the release of "Super Robot Wars EX (Super Famicom), the pilots of the other Elemental Lords - Yanglong, Tytti and Mio - made their appearance. There even was an anime TV series, named "Elemental Lord Cybuster", which was based on those mechs, and with different pilots. So, they aren't really new around here. Even the Mobile Suit Gundam saga is older than them... P.S.: Allow me to correct you: Valsione is not an Elemental Lord mech, but a Super Robot, based on Valsion's technology, under Lune's request.

You should see this then, an english translation patch to Masaki's story on the SNES has been released on Aeon Genesis since May's 29. agtp.romhack.net/project.php?id=srwg

While this game is mostly enclosed by itself, though, the version that the OG saga uses is an expanded remake, which unfortunately is still JP-only. It has four episodes, this SNES game from above has been rebranded as Episode 1, "The Lord of Elemental", and it's for the Nintendo DS. The others are Episode 2, "Revelation of Evil God" for PSP, Ep.3 "Pride of Justice" for PS3 and Vita, and the final, "Coffin of the End" for the PS3 only. Most of what's covered on those four games are what the hell is Shu up to, Masaki's grudge towards him (it's seriously personal), the whole involvement of the Masou Kishin mechas (they were made to deal with the Kadoan Hakan of their own dimension, but unfortunately their creators never were aware that there's A LOT of them around, like 2nd OG's XN-L and Moon Dwellers' Furyhan, who's fortunately on your side), and how powerful can they all be (Cyfis Cybuster got nuthin' on the original one). And since those games run in tandem with OG (Ep.1 happens before OG even started, Ep.2 is running during OG Gaiden, Ep.3 between this game and 2nd OG, which is where they appear here, and Ep.4 runs before Moon Dwellers), it also explains why is Masaki screwed after MD, what with the Cross Gate being destroyed, and all sources of power for the Cybuster thereafter cut off. It was already jury-rigged after Ep.4 due to how burned out all seven Masou Kishin mechas were by dealing with La Gias' Kadoan Hakan, and even that fails without an active Cross Gate around.

WTH, why all map weapon now hurt teammates????
@ptbwf12 жыл бұрын
Still doesn't make any sense. All of the Masoukishin have upgraded all of their attacks, so Goddess, Granveil and Zamzeed should not be hitting allies with their MAP attacks now.
@ptbwf12 жыл бұрын
and that is really stupid because Cyflash is supposed to outclass them all.
