Just saw a behind the scenes trailer for this which had a shot of kraven getting in a battle with a snow leopard. As a zookeeper who works with big cats I burst out laughing. Snow leopards don't hunt people. They are beautiful, not too bright silly derps. Sure, an aggressive snow leopard is intimidating, but if you have to face down any big cat and it can't be a cheetah, snow leopard would be the next best option. The idea that even a big male (95 lbs) snow leopard would confront a large aggressive human head on when it had the option to run away is utterly ludicrous.

The heck of it is, I don't know if Chato was joking or not! Hollywood has put out so much crap these last few years I think it's possible. If you had told me ten years ago that all the Marvel heroes were going to be replaced with all female and or diverse characters, I would have laughed at that. The original characters were insanely popular, a license to print money, they wouldn't flush them. I mean, kill off Iron Man to be replaced by a diverse teen girl who is as smart as him? Have Thor get fat and be replaced with a woman who took not just his hammer, but also his name? Cap being replaced by Falcon AND a female British non-American Captain America? Hawkeye be replaced by a teen female who is as good as him with a bow? Have Hulk become too cowardly to fight, then lose his ferocity and be shown to be weaker than a female Hulk? They wouldn't do it, they couldn't do it, but they did it! So a melon baller in this movie, sure, that's a LOT less stupid. And yeah, G4 was a special, wonderful time in our lives. The last attempt at bringing it back was like seeing a beautiful girlfriend from your past show up as an ugly, toothless crack whore.
