So disappointing that Sony could get all of their Marvel properties so wrong. Thanks to you I don't have to waste my time or money on this flick although I did think the action scenes were compelling especially when Kraven was whacking dudes with the bear trap. I suspect those writing and producting these films had little if any clue as to what these characters' stories were from the comics. They just decided to do what they wanted and we all got crap. Excellent, thoughtfull and well articulated review. All of Hollywood has lost the thread with regards to the Marvel and DC universes. The Marvel themed shows that Netflix had prior to Disney's involvment were fantastic. Not anymore.
