I remember the time when I was searching for bottleneck blues years ago, because there was something magical about it, as if it's not of this Earth. I got familiar with legends like Johnny Shines, Bonnie Raitt, Fred McDowell and then I stumbled upon a short track called "Break Train Blues". I instantly fell in love with it and now, when I know it was an original and you have quite recently revisited it, I can say that you are a blessing, for keeping this style alive and well today.

You can slow down the video, it's one of KZbin feature...you can speed it up or slow it down, check the three-dots sign on the top of the video and then choose "Playback speed"

Honestly I just put mine in an open tuning and started learning scales and goofing around trying things that sounded cool. Marty Music also has an excellent tutorial up on KZbin. I probably won’t be as good as this guy for a long time but it’s a start
