Lovely fabric and a very pretty mug rug, but I just love to watch your machine stitching out the designs! KK has some really great ITH stuff; at present I am stitching out the KK Treehouse Fairies wall hanging for my grandaughter who is four years old, it is great fun very fiddly and needs alot of concentration and cups of tea.

My kids were laughing at me when I told them what the Flip Flop Mug Rug was!! Well, the other day my son was working at the computer and his Drink was Sweating, we Live in TEXAS. I ran into my sewing room and grabbed one of the Farm Animal Coasters from Kreative Kiwi (Free). It solved the problem!!! I love the Sun Flower you just made!!!!! Thank you for the Video!!!!! Wow!!

I have MANY of kreative kiwi's designs! Love them. Unfortunately my 6mo old pe800 just broke while working on a large wedding order. So i'll be sending it off for repair/replacement and the nearest repair shop is 2 hrs away, ugh. So no embroidery for me in the near future.

hi instead of batting what can we use to make the mug rug more stable..... more stiffer?

i think the idea of the batting is to absorb moisture from the drink that is sitting on it. you could add some stiff cutaway backing and trim it out before doing the final stitches.
