KREG Crosscut Station assembly and first cuts with my Makita DHS680Z circular saw

Just got mine and assembled. Looks good what I did wrong was put the rails too snug for the saw and trouble moving it across. Adjusted them a bit.

Can you cut a 1 by 12 on it? If so are there clamps to hold the board?

As mentioned in the specs on the Kreg website, yes. It should be able to cut 12” wide boards.

It supposed to be set at 2in. depth. The cut should go through the bottom as well.

Mine did not cut completely through the bottom piece of MFD but slightly scratched the surface.

Yes it was and you can adjust if it needs to be. Will use it more often now to see if that is really worth the money.
