I also cut a slot in front piece for drawer bottom. Over time a nailed panel can drop leaving an ugly anything crack.

I do front and back, assemble 3 sides, slide the bottom in and install the 4th end.

I found doing 3 sides with a dado cut is stronger. Front and both sides. I slide it in from the back and use 3 pan head screws to secure it. I tried using 3/4 inch pocket screws but I didn't get a good enough hold. I used 1 inch instead and didn't screw all the way down. They seem to be holding up well.

I have watched all of these informative videos. But I can not find a place that provides how to install the drawer facings? In one I saw him lean over and saw Gary do something in the drawer with his back turned. Can anyone provide how these are attached?

Screw from the inside to the face. To line it up, get jiggy wit it and you could use some dabble face tape to hold It until you can screw it.

How do you determine the drawer height? I don't like a short drawer that allows my socks to fall out and down to the bottom of the cabinet. Is there a max height? I know the drawer opening would be absolute max. Nevermind….I should have watched more of the video.

because he's only using 1/2" thick plywood for the front, the pocket screws only end up penetrating the wood by maybe 1/4". This means there isn't a lot of thread engagement, hence the need for more screws (to provide strength to the joint). An easier way to make the joint, or at least less expensive, is to cut a rabbet in the drawer sides and glue/brad nail it together.

You spoke of micro-screws. I have the same K5 jigs as you. Are there micro-screw inserts for the K5 holes?

Actually not exactly. He says right up front it's the Micro Jig (which fits in the K5,4,3,etc, And the plugs are definitely not full-sized plugs.
