G'day Dirk . . and what a grouse piece of machinery that is! If mains power fails you can hold the wood still and spin the table . . just kidding! :) Seriously though, it seems infinitley variable with well designed parts and accessories. The vacuum attachment would seem to offer minimal cleanup after use . . . that router looks like it could rout the stump of a redwood tree. Together they make a great workshop team! I have found a great gadget on the internet that means that with only one half-working eye and that one eye damaged by PVD I can work more easily and safely and today I am using a new stitching method for a unique photo album for a special lady, could not have done it without the gadget. A little but powerful LED spotlight that clips on spectacles. I am mentioning this because some of your viewers may have failing eyesight and this makes exact measurement as easy as it is for 20/20 eyesight. Anything that helps creativity as we get older is valuable. Mid summer here Dirk and we have the broiling temperature of 19 degrees centigrade! Take care you and yours, keep healthy and HOOOROOO!! Eryk 👍🔨👍🔨🎬😀

Hello Dirk. I have been thinking of making a table for my router for a year. But I still couldn't :-) This router table made is nice. I like it. It works well for amateur use. Better things can be done with this. Thank you for sharing. See you. A great warm hug. Greetings. Stay healthy and happy. Best regards.

Greetings Mehmet, I think most machines with a Table & upside down saw are beneficial in the Woodshop mate & I have no doubt you would have much usage for it 👍👍👍👍

I could definitely use that table in my shop. Thanks for the advise.

Oh yes Jesper, it adds a world of finer finishing in woodworking that’s a must, my recommendation is if you can get one do so 🍺🍺🍺👍👍👍👍

Great review mate. I like the fact you have used it for a while and not just out of the box. I have see these at Woodcraft stores but haven’t looked that close at them. Nice to see all the features.

G’day folks, I’ve owned this Kreg PRS Router Table for about 4 years now & wanted to share with you how good of a product it is. Combined with a good Router it’s something you might want to consider for your own Workshop.

Did you go ahead to buy the kreg router lift or you are using that router plate accompanied by the table, which motor is best convenient for the functions.

Very good evening to you Brian, been pretty bad with Covid cases in Melbourne mate & strict 6 week stage 4 lockdown but things are improving mate, it’s a great little router table & I just wanted to highlight its features 🤠🍻🍻👍👍👍

I’ve thought many times about buying something like this. You’ve really done a good job of showing it off and digging into details. I have that triton router and it’s not doing anything because I took my table apart a while ago. So tempting to get one of these! Thanks Sumo!

Great machine the router table buddy, I think that you’d get value out of one however given you incredibly talented design capabilities it’d be a project well worth you making your own 👍👍👍

I have got an old beat up triton workcenter as a router table. Used it only once in 2 years or so, as it was a pain to get the bit aligned underneath. I think the issue I had was more to do with my router, that the table. Your triton router seems good that you can change the depth from the top of the kreg table. 👍
@sumosprojects4 жыл бұрын
Yes this model works very well in most router tables, I think it’s one of tritons best machines & I to had the Triton table saw which was terrible mate & I use it as a table now 🧐😳😁😁🎥🔨👍

Great review Dirk, might have to save some pennies to get this or throw out a few hints for Xmas. 😂😂😂. Use to have the triton router table years ago when Australia owned them but got rid of it when I down sized. Thank for the review it was awesome. 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍

It’s a good addition to all workshops David, as Melbourne Storm had there big 3 mine are Tablesaw, Mitre Saw & Router Table, pretty much everything can be achieved with these machines & all the leading woodworking supply stores have a version of them. Save the pennies mate 🤞🤞🤞& a 3 1/4 HP Triton will be the 💪💪💪 you need to get most jobs done 🍻🍻👍👍👍ps I use the router table on all projects 🍺

Nice job Dirk. Once I get my tablesaw out of the box and up and running I reckon a router table or drill press is next on the list. Have thought about making one but might just bite the bullet and get something like this. I like the jointing feature - wasn't really sure how it worked. I've spent a bit extra getting the Sherwood table saw so I could get the iron table for magnetic things and reckon its a good thing to save up a bit extra for. Guess I can use those things on a router table too if I matched it up.
@sumosprojects4 жыл бұрын
G’day mate, I’m always of the opinion to save a little extra coin mate to buy the things that will give you lifelong performance, you could make your own but that’s time consuming & some engineering needs to be put into play,. I reckon you’d get value out of one & cast iron top does assist magnetic Featherboards but are they necessary?, anyway mate let me know how you get on 🍻🍻👍👍👍

Mate, that looks the goods! I had no idea about the jointing function, that's fantastic. I don't actually use my router that often, which is why I have the cheapest little Ozito router table that is still in the box hahah

Tis a bloody handy thing mate, I suppose it depends on the other machines you use but even the Ozito should play a part 🍻👍👍👍

@NotJustSawdust4 жыл бұрын
@@sumosprojects That's the problem with Kreg and other USA brands... it would cost me more than twice the amount of what it's sold for in the US (transport, import duties, tax over the import duties, import duties over the transport costs, multiple "handling costs".. and still I couldn't be sure to receive any thing because customs is one of the most corrupt organisations over here in PT (lot's of things end up on Ebay)

Nice table mate, I looked at this when I upgraded my table but having watched Patrick demonstrating the Sherwood table on Timbecon’s KZbin channel I went that way, I also have the phenolic top (could not afford the cast iron) but so far have no regrets, have to say you can’t beat a good router table. I also run a triton router in my table, have had that for many years am wondering if one of those router lifts will work on mine 🤔it’s the tra01 model I have ? Any way a great review buddy 👍👍👍👍
@sumosprojects4 жыл бұрын
Geez Graham we pretty much have similar machinery in our workshop & the Sherwood one is pretty much the same mate, I’m pretty sure Timbecon have all the required lifters & I think that there’s a dedicated Sherwood on & then you can get the digital readout 😳🧐🙃, Hahaha buying stuff is an endless pursuit but a functional router table makes most jobs relatively easy 🍻🍻🍻👍👍👍
