Krico 300- 50y groups with CCI Standard Velocity

I'd almost say as usual with CCI SV, the results are not bad but not great either. I'm curious to see how the rifle would perform with really good target ammo (RWS R50, Eley Match/Tenex, Lapua...). Thanks for sharing!

2nd group looked real promising. Odd question, on the older barrels of rifles in your collection have you ever tried graphine in the barrel after a good cleaning? It's something some people say makes a difference in worn barrels some say it means nothing. I'm asking because of the older barrels might benefit from having any pits/voids filled. There really is no downside to trying but it's messy sometimes applying. Just a odd thought.

Hey pal, I actually have heard of that as well as a few other concoctions fellas have tried. I myself have never tried any, as I try my hardest to get a good barrel from the get go and every barrel I have is excellent with great rifling. My last frosty bore was on a Remington model 12- as It was in the black powder era, but it still shot very well. Would be an interesting test though…

Try some quality ammunition like SK or RWS and your groups will shrink. I can get 1/4 at 50 yards .

Hey, thanks for the comment! I typically shoot a new rifle with CCI SV as an introduction. It shoots lights out with the good stuff
