Great shooter, I get similar groups using SK. In fact, best groups from SK Pistol Match ( go figure)
@bluntinstrument60705 күн бұрын
Try some quality ammunition like SK or RWS and your groups will shrink. I can get 1/4 at 50 yards .

@gerardblaizot20717 күн бұрын
The moving part where the spring and firing pin are located, in France this part is called the “breech” with its cocking lever.

Nice video of your rifles, I have a Diana .177, its from the mid to late 60's, I got it way back in the early 70's & been in storage since last year, the spring is very weak, so starting next year will get this restored & in working order by a air gun shop. Chas, uk.
@inrangerimfire20two20 күн бұрын
Very cool! Diana’s from that era are such excellent shooters. Enjoy it when you get it up and running and stop back again and let me know how it shoots.

I saw one of these for sale at a local store....when looking over the rifle the trigger would pull but not hit 25 percent of the time. Is this the same issue you referred to in the video?
@inrangerimfire20two21 күн бұрын
Yes, most likely. It has either been set far too low (most common) or, it has missing/worn parts. The parts are shared with the 69A and are usually easy to source.

Practice with only a single cheap Plastic bolts with a 60 or a better yet, a 50 pound cross bows, shoot with Plastic single piece, cheap, not two different types they break, not a 80 poun DC Cross Bow they, break too many bolts, sho-t in to a card board boxes, mash flat, a 50 pound Cross Bow Pistols is best, they dont break Plastic Bolts as the, . 80 pound Cross Bow Pistols do. Break ! Stay with a 50 or a 60 pound Cross Bow Pistols, I practice always up close, 15 feet, or closer, targets, a box full of dry dirt or dry sand in a card board boxes as a target, just use, Masking tape up the holes.

Man im really considering doing this. I built a precious bull barrel savage axis long action in lefty. Im thinking of going this route or build an aluminum chassis. I have access to a machine shop. Wich would you suggest?
@inrangerimfire20twoАй бұрын
A chassis vs stock is a personal thing, so it really depends on your preference and available time. I think both are just as stable if done right and you can’t go wrong either way. If you have a mill you can do a laminate stock in a very quick timeframe. I chose to do mine with basic tools for channel purposes

How exactly did you make the T-nuts?
@inrangerimfire20twoАй бұрын
Hey there, easiest thing ever! Take a standard T nut (for use in wood) and I ground the base square so it they would slide in the rail, and then ground the “post” down so as not to be proud of the rail. Takes 2-3 Minutes for each one.
Beautiful wood on that rifle! Mine is darker but also has some nice grain/figurings. Luckily I don't shoot matches that require anything but the single shot loading tray - the mag release is about the single feature on the 1710 I'd recommend Anschütz to upgrade or improve.
