Awesome guide m8. In-depth and yet without anything irrelevant. The one thing I'd like to add is that if you have difficulties with the Bunker, you can farm him from the lower layer with practically any weapon. My pick is the infinity pistol for obvious reasons.

I think the only problem with the infinity in TVHM is the level because it'll be around level 37 or so if you got one from Mercy. But farming him from below is an option. You just need to be careful about not getting knocked off of the platform by a loader

The main problem with this is that at 4:10 Krieg gets a huge benefit from overkill while he is rampaging , allowing you to sustain in rampage if there are a lot of enemies

Now I want to try out Krieg and was wondering if you're ever coming back and completing this series with UVHM and digistruct for Krieg or if you're solely focusing on BL3? Edit: I'd also LOVE a Salvador build guide because I wanna try the dual wield mechanic effectively.

I haven't ruled out coming back, but my focus in on BL3 as of right now. I originally had intended to do guides for everyone, but I was so burnt out after the Gaige series that by the time I got Krieg through TVHM, I didn't have it in me to do UVHM. If you're looking for tips on UVHM, I have a few comments saying what I would've done somewhere here. Most of it would've been the same as with Gaige, but obviously the spec & some gear would change

honestly, blood bath is the most overpowered skill that Krieg has, and nor fully specing to it to 11 is a sin. You only need a low level tesla grenade (recommend a longbow, preferable with zero fuse), a launcher to proc blood bath and a high fire rate gun. Use grenade to create stacks, make a kill with launcher, and lead storm any enemy for a quick kill... you can kill the warrior in 30 second with this. This just does not work well with Raid bosses, but still helps a lot.

Just a tip, krieg can farm the bunker easily with bloodsplosion (just destroy one of his turrets and bunker will die instantly) and pull the pin (it will give you double xp if you down yourself and kill Bunker with a skyrocket)

All well and good, but i think all this works way easier if you just farm the magic missile grenade in tiny tinas dlc (merlins ring of carnage), do the mission in Sanctuary with the 4 clones where the one with the assault rifle is the murderer to get a gun that gives +100% melee damage, or even better do the "message in a bottle" sidequest from the Cap. Scarlett DLC for a gun that gives +200% melee damage, then all you need is a powerful rocket launcher and you can do the following: Throw grenades to slack enemies, attack them with melee till you are down to under 33% health, activate your action skill and repeat as soon as it is over. If you go to fight for your life, use the rocket launcher, and that´s all you need to beat the game.

at UVHM start I just started Barroom beatdown occasionally popping out to farm new fastballs and a rough rider once the adaptive white drops start to beat it. Especially once you get to Bloodsplosion krieg is the fastest BRB farmer in the game barring Sham/fleet. not to mention the torque vendor for ravagers, harolds, kerblasters. FML on BA constructors though. Usually just cheesed with a kerblaster.

I don't think it'll happen. From what I've seen, there isn't a whole lot of interest in BL2 guides, especially now with Borderlands 3 here.

Here's a pretty rough outline of what I had planned: I'd say run the story into UVHM to where you can get a harold & a fastball. Then you have to complete hammerlock's dlc to the point where you save claptrap. After this you can do the mission polling around, which will unlock the rough rider farm. Once you have these, do the Fight for Sanctuary DLC & beat it to unlock the Writhing Deep rocket launcher farm. After this, it's just a matter of leveling to 80. You can do Mick Zaford, Bar Brawl with a Topneaa from the Writhing Deep farm. Those are the easiest two. Krieg is pretty easy to level with melee because he's not super gear dependent. Key skills are going to be Release the beast, bloodsplosion & bloodbath (for bosses that are hard to kill with melee). When you get a melee kill in release the beast, start throwing axes so you don't hit yourself in the head

I just finished the game on my krieg, I killed the warrior, got to level 32 after farming warrior for a while. wanted to do one more warrior kill, went to main menu, accidentally clicked new game, i exit out of creating new char and my level 32 krieg was now lvl 24..... i checked the saved game in willowgame folder, normal save at 20:06 the night before and backup save was at 04:36. tried removing normal save and renaming backup to sav, krieg still lvl 24 what can i do now? just lost 8 hours of that toon..... sooo much gear i gathered, even got a badaboom rocket launcher. all gone...

Once you get used to throwing your axe more with Buzz Axe Bombardier and Fuel the Blood active, you can mitigate a lot of the self damage from StV. It's a huge damage boost that becomes very important in UVHM

thanks for this vid. I got the PC version of BL2 and all the DLC save for the headhunters. I discovered the community patch which fixes a great deal of Krieg's flaws going into UVHM and OP, allowing melee krieg to be viable and makes some items easier to farm. I'm slogging through normal mode and just have some questions. are quests in UVHM and up repeatable? should I farm in the bar brawl with a moxxi's endowment scaled to UVHM? and should I attempt to solo raid bosses?

Quests in UVHM are only repeatable if you reset your story, which you can do at any time once you get there. Bar room brawl is a great farm in UVHM and yes Moxxi's endowment works well with it. Soloing raid bosses with Krieg can be tough unless you use bloodsplosion. I'd look up some vids for specific raids with Krieg if you want to learn more

I'm not going to rule it out, but UVHM Krieg is probably not gonna happen. Right now it's really hard to back to BL2 after playing BL3, plus there's still so much I haven't done yet. As far as Axton goes, I'd try to get tediore weapons & fastballs. The fibber is much more difficult to use with other characters besides Gaige. Axton with Tediore weapons is a solid choice. I do have an Axton playthrough to OP10 on my twitch channel if you want to see it in action.

It's a melee build where before you go into release the beast you want to throw something like a storm front or a leach that will deal elemental damage to get elemental elation stacks up. This skill increases your fire rate which your axe throws scale off of. You want to kill an enemy with melee then start throwing axes. From 50, go for bloodsplosion then get embrace the pain in the middle tree, then go to the right tree. You'll want a rough rider for this build, it's the best shield on melee Krieg.

Ugh, I can't get past Saturn and that Super Constructor 2.0 on the Data Mining overpass in TVHM. They are kicking my arse. Running past them is not working, and I'm not doing enough damage to take them out quickly. Trying the "ankle-biter" method got me close on Saturn, but it's really tough not to get stomped.

Not sure if you're resetting if you fail because that's the only way to despawn the badass constructor. It's a pain having to come in from the waypoint, but it should work. Sit under the bridge until saturn jumps off of it and then as he comes down, go to the elevator & call it up. Then run to the info stockade and you should beat the constructor spawn

@@agentlomax Saturn had been jumping back up and blasting me lol. Anyway, I managed to somehow get Saturn stuck by the hotel and used up almost all my AR and SMG ammo to take him out. Constructor was then taken out from extreme range via sniper

the method i used was i used an explosive weapon to just shoot and when your health drops to become a badass psycho activate and start throwing your buzzaxe. action skill come right back up. rinse and repeat. for the constructor i used the ladyfist that you get from the side quest and melted him.

Here's a thing I discovered with Blood-Filled Guns combined with Tediore weapons. I discovered that I could throw multiple Tediores from only a single bullet fired. I think what might be happening is that the increase in magazine size from Bloodlust stacks is making the game think the new weapon that appears has ammo missing, allowing a second or even third throw after a single bullet fired. So I think what happens is you'll have a mag size of 20 with and then reload so your new gun has 20 bullets in your mag and then a split second later, the gun hits and you gain bloodlust stacks, increasing your magazine capacity to 21. But you only had 20 bullets so you can reload again because it's not full. I think that's more or less what you said haha
