Believe it or not, that kind of force is enough to completely destroy Earth forever. Like, you don't have to vaporize Earth to make it uninhabitable. In Dragonball, a PL of 10,000 can destroy a planet. Any planet. Wouldn’t even take much effort on an undefended planet. In the Namek saga, during the Frieza fight, Krillin’s power level is confirmed to be 75000. If Krillin never trained again a day in his life and got no stronger than this moment, he would solo the Viltrumite Empire. He is hundreds of times stronger now

Also we should take the opportunity to note that a lot of the edge that is so good in Invincible feels directly like DB elements mixed in classical comics lore with the Viltrumite feeling like a mix between sayien and kryptonians, the over the top gore that feel like the comicbook version of that gory action that was so good in DBZ. If anything Invincible feels like a Superhero comic that digested the dragonball influence. Omni-Man season two is basically Vegeta dude attack earth then fucks off to fight against the intergalactic empire that birthed him while still being an ass, any battle including viltrumites or battlebeast feels like a Dragon Ball fight with crazy destruction and everything. As a fan of both I feel they are to be compared not opposed.

Omiman wasn't holding back against the guardian of the globe and based on immortals ability to hurt omniman in there second fight whereas in the first fight he wasn't doing as much damage then that means he was holding back against omni man. Krillin would solo the guardians. He could just blow them up in one move or use solar flare then throw a destructo discount to end them. NOolan is also one of the strongest viltrumites yet we see how the guardians had this man in the hospital meaning that the average viltumite would be random freiza solider level at best.

People vastly overstate how weak Krillin is. He has always tailing slightly behind Goku until the Freeza arc when zenkais, kaioken(which should have been taught to the Z Fighters) and Super Saiyan just made Goku and the other saiyans stupidly strong. The rundown is basically this him and Krillin were super close in OG until the divine water and kami training, but even so Piccolo still recognizes his strength(even if that doesn't mean much). Then Raditz comes along, and nobody can take him including Goku and Piccolo. After that they train for a year and Krillin surpasses Raditz(or the Saibamen which are Raditz level), but Goku had an edge because he trained with a God and also gravity training(also kaioken). Then in the Frieza arc again Krillin gets stronger than Goku during his fight with Vegeta(although he had to get his potential unlocked), but Goku has the advantage of abusing his saiyan biology as well as the gravity training. And even so Krillin is there almost killing Frieza with a destructo disk(which although it affects stronger foes, it can't kill someone 100 or 1000× stronger). Then the adroids come and finally the humans are outdone because of Super Saiyan.

Anyone who has read the comics knows full well Omni Man is just strong enough to be a real contender at the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai. I'm spoiling some Invincible from later in the story because I didn't see it mentioned in the video and it's a max feat for Onni-Man. Omni-Man destroys a planet with the help of two other Viltrumites and a super laser. He can't do it himself and it could easily have killed him. Krillin was able to destroy a planet himself easily by halfway through the Frieza fight. No need to get into Super. Dragon Ball numbers are kind of stupid. Super conclusively proved that the old master hits WAY outside of his weight class and shouldn't be used as the baseline for anyone because he blithely ignores power levels and does damage to people he, by all rights, shouldn't even be scratching by now. Krillin's strong suit has always been his refined control on his ki, not destructive power. It is why his Kienzan can do damage to people way outside his weight class, managing to cut both Cell and Buu despite an absolutely colossal difference in personal power. But he also noted himself that he just can't hit nearly as hard as even Tenshinhan - in terms of raw power, Yamcha is basically the only one he overpowers. Everybody else hits much harder than him, even if you equalize power levels. He's basically the Technique type to his friends being Power types, in a nutshell. That refined ki control helps him stay relevant, but later on he struggles for a reason - outside the Kienzan, he just lacks firepower, and it shows.

@@GenocideHeart doesn't matter, considering half way through the Namek saga he's above a Saiyan saga Vegeta who can with a flick of his finger destroy a planet, so even if he's weak compared to his allies, he's still by all means a planet buster, also your talking about tenshinhan and Yamcha as if they both also wouldn't fodderize Omni man, saying he hits weaker than Tenshinhan is not an anti feat, they're still in the same class of Planet busters during early dbz(though Tenshinhan doesn't get the planet busting tier till the cell saga, while Krillin reaches it in the Namek saga) and then Solar system level in DBS. Roshi using the Kamehameha with a power level of 300~ easily destroyed the moon, Krillin with a 20k+ power level (which he got right after elder guru unlocked his potential, then at the end of the saga reached a power level of around 75-80k) using the Kamehameha should easily beable to surpass that by a huge margin, or if you wanna downplay him as much as you do then he should atleast beable to match that. The verses just aren't comparable, Namek Krillin shits on the entire Invincible verse.

He is obviously able to hit way above his weight class seeing how he badly lagged behind all these years and yet in the ToP he holds his own against a guy who by all rights should have outright obliterated him with a mean look. It is very, very obvious that Roshi can temporarily produce bursts of power that hit waaaaaaay outside his power level, so him blowing up the moon after visibly powering up is clearly such an instance since it left him visibly drained, and his second best feat was using the same powerup to destroy the Ox King's mountain. As for Yamcha, he lost to a Saibaman of all things, and since then, he has basically not improved at all, something even he notes with more than a bit of bitterness when he remarks he's been obsolete since Vegeta first showed up. He hit his ceiling a long time ago, and is pretty much just there to pad the numbers since he hasn't done anything relevant in ages, other than dying in embarrassing ways for comic relief (a baseball game? Really?). Videl is arguably stronger than him, especially if you go by the OAVs, purely by virtue of her taking an attack from Broly and not dying immediately. If there is anyone in DBZ who is getting his shit pushed in even in Invincible, it's Yamcha. He is objectively that worthless, and I am being nice here, and doesn't even have the saving grace of outlier feats like Roshi - in fact, he has WORSE feats despite being supposedly much stronger power level wise.

Aside from that power difference, sure maybe he's seen energy attacks before, but it gives Krillen a ranged option that Omniman doesn't have, and Omniman probably wouldn't be able to sense the ki blast like many in dragonball can, so Krillen could be sneaky about it too if the attack curves around from behind.

Comparing characters in a 1v1 by their ability to destroy rocks en masse, when both characters are comparably tougher than rock is honestly one of the dumbest arguments i can think of. DC does not equal AP. Omniman doesn't have abilities that are geared towards destroying rocks and planets. Krillin does. Stronger versions of Hulk, or Doomsday can withstand and survive galaxy level attacks but not all versions of them have the ability to just break a planet because their power is 100% contained within their body, Krillin's only advantage is the fact he can project it.

This type of fight is one involving two characters that seem offensively offset. That is to say their durability is much lower than their destructive power, given the types of things that have hurt them. Omni Man taking a beating from the guardians who are not capable of the same destructive feats by a long shot, and DB characters getting hurt when they are caught off guard by simple weapons (Goku in super when his hand is scratched by a bullet or when he got shot with the laser and went down) show that they have more power than durability, granted for DB characters that low durability is conditional. Both characters have insane speed and reflexes as well. This leads me to one conclusion. Whoever gets the jump on the other and goes for the kill immediately has a fair chance, but this will be harder for Omni Man to do because a character like Krillin can sense Ki, and unless Omni Man has an ability to suppress it deliberately, he would likely need Krillin to be distracted (preferably by something like a conversation or something that takes most or all of his attention that won't put his guard up) to pull it off. This is the best conclusion I can come to without doing really precise scaling. More often than not I give this to Krillin since he seems likely to win any situation that is remotely fair. Omni Man has a chance if he plays it smart and sets him up so he doesn't see it coming.

Nolan can escape the pull of a black hole... The only way to do that is to move at the speed of light. Krillin has never showed that feat. He was shot POST tourney by a blaster and couldnt dodge even that. I see a lot of people talking about how Krillen took damage from a bullet, so it invalidates his strength. Believe it or not, Dragon ball z address this idea during The cell saga. Super saiyan goku got hit with a rock while he was sleeping, and it hurt him. " All characters from dragon ball z are week then!" LOL, no. Power level only protects you when you tell it to. You have to activate the energy barrier that repels attacks. In video game terms, you have to activate that damage reduction toggle. If you don't, you're mortal! It's that simple. Krillen wasn't using his power, and realized he should start.

Krillin was considered the most powerful human during the Cell saga. And in the Cell saga, Tien bodied *second form* Cell with one move for a while. If he was considered stronger than that, then he's at an insane level of power. The comparisons I'm going to give are based on other characters, and they help scale up Krillin simply from how we're told he's stronger than Tien. Vegeta in Super Saiyan form got his ass whooped by Android 18. Piccolo with Kami absorbed was on par with Android 17. Cell in *first form* was considered MUCH more powerful than Android 17 and 18 combined, so much so that both of them fled in fear at just the sight of him. If we're to believe that Krillin is stronger than Tien at this time, then we're to believe that Krillin is stronger than Super Saiyan Vegeta (before time chamber), Super Saiyan Trunks, Piccolo fused with Kami, Android 18, First Form Cell, Yamcha (lol), Frieza, Roshi, and Tien. At least narratively, he was being called stronger than Tien, and the above comparison would be all true if we're to believe he's at least a little better than Tien. So yeah. There are two things I see happening in these VS debates. 1) People vote for the character they like more most of all with no reasoning behind their vote. 2) People low-ball Dragon Ball out of SPITE. Why? Who knows, popularity? Age? The quality of the writing? It's hard to say. And of Dragon Ball characters Krillin and Yamucha are constantly low balled because of how far behind the characters they scale to. It isn't reasonable or logical, then again it's illogical for Goku and Krillin to be getting hurt by bullets when they were tanking them as 12 year olds with the most rudimentary/no ki control. It's also illogical that destroying the planet would be enough to kill a Super Saiyan especially like Blue Vegeta. Sure they might eventually suffocate in space, but they can hold their breath or keep some air in a ki-field. Then again Superman has been KOed by planets crashing into each other. So there are anti-feats to go around. These franchises really should hire lore-masters.

I think the problem lies in comparing DB with any other animation on a power level. The Sayens sent their children out on space ships by themselves to conure planets in their ape form. During that saga, his power was awakened, and he and gohan were considered relative to vegeta when he first arrived on earth, who is undoubtedly a planet buster. Krillin did nothing hut get stronger after that. Trained with king kai, fought cell and buu, went through two timeskips and reached a new height of power in super, allowing him to keep up with the ToP team. Trains with Android 18 on the regular, who is stronger than a super saiyan, and can keep up with with her in conbo maneuvers during the ToP. Stronger than Roshi, who beat a dude that was stated to be namek frieza level in the ToP and fought against frost, another namek Frieza level opponent. Krillin is ridiculously strong, even if he doesn't scale directly to the main cast like goku and vegeta anymore.
