Two things about the Serenity Now funeral thing. 1. If you remember before warmode, even on a pvp server, all the starter zones were safe for players, and yet they held the funeral in contested winterspring, and announced it ahead of time on the forums. and 2. If I were in a guild on a PVP server, or to put it another way, If I chose to play the version of the game where the other faction and you were constantly able to kill each other, what greater honor could you show me as a rival guild than to raid my funeral? Maybe that's just me.

I remember the Shadowlands prepatch so fondly. I did some of the Ghoul Shenanigans, but mostly I was equipping alts with the catch-up gear from the Argent Dawn event in Northrend. The bosses in Icecrown had some neat loot too, 34 slot bag was the big prize.

No at the end you're thinking of Martin Fury, when a player was accidentally given a GM instakill item when his account was restored after getting hacked.

4:15 I love how Darkest Dungeon became a template for anyone inflicting the mental damage. 11:48 well as much as I liked it, I wouldn't lie if it did put me in the stress mode as I didn't level up the character enough yet to get everything during pre-patch while cities weren't safe XD 14:20 well Legion invasions were special to me because I started to play in WoD but I never did hit max level until they happened, I was questing in Pandaria at the time and I remember all the quests that I did before that. 16:28 I love the callback to his BfA and Shadowlands launch experiences and you can see the roleplaying guy jump at the demon with his Sword Demon Obliterator 5 Million XD

just imagine: you are in the original world of warcraft, about to do ragnaros, someone just comes (or is committed) to get rid of your buffs, just because he can. did that guy get banned for half a fucking year? no. he did not. that is gameplay. deal with it .

I know people were pissed at Teenyviolin for what he did but calling him a psychopath is overreacting. Yes, I know a lot of work was lost and hundreds of hours tanked in seconds, but this is hardcore. This is what you signed up for. You signed up for the risk. You went in there knowing full well that it could be over for you in a flash and the amount of work you put in would disappear. Other players are not responsible for you and you should know this. So they could be angry all they want for losing their character, that's the nature of hardcore. If you don't want weeks of your life wasted, don't play hardcore. Simple. The whole point of hardcore is the risk and danger and if you can't accept when you die, hardcore really should not be for you and you should just stick to regular classic.
@him748711 ай бұрын
You like missed the point completely. People were calling him a pyscho because of the amount of effort it took to literally fake an entire personality to do a little trolling. It was a months long process to climb guild ranks and become friendly enough to be reliable enough to tank Naxx. This isn't like a hunter just running around trying to get noobs to attack his pvp flagged pet, this is like manipulation that spanned almost a year, all for a Iittle clout that ended up being nothing cause his channel was dead a few weeks later. Definitely weirdo behavior.

@@him7487 He was on a bloody Revenge Path, don’t underestimate humans in what length they can go to make someone they despise and hate, suffer. It is after all only human even if you think it is psycho. Not only did he do it once in the 4 Horsemen fight but also at the AQ40 final boss. So he REALLY HATED them.

As a not-WoW player, I'm a tad confused by a Priest would have a buff cleanse in their kit...but alrighty then. (The community may as well be an experiment.)
@unknowndane475411 ай бұрын
Think of it this way. You fight other players or mobs in the game and they have a buff "I will now hit for X harder", if you play a priest or in a party with a priest, it could then remove that buff, making the fight easier. (Some raid boss mechanics are also based on having op buffs that raiders need to dispell).
@Tomha11 ай бұрын
Some enemy NPCs had buffs they could apply to themselves so the Priest had an ability to help remove it, obviously it would be useful in PVP scenarios as well as competent players would share buffs with eachother. I don't think the developers back in 2004 thought such a spell would cause so much chaos. MMOs were quite young at the time and we had no idea how far people would go.
