this isn’t very high quality, and it’s aslo Really not sequential, but i just wanted to try making an animatic in a single day (i failed, it took two days to make this)
i would’ve had berdly also pining for susie at one point too but I couldn’t figure out how to fit it

Kris uses they/them pronouns! If I see any comments misgendering them they will be deleted! if you want to try to fight me on their pronouns I will also delete your comment :)

Question, is Kris referred to as "they/them" due to not knowing the gender, or do characters refer to Kris as "they/them" due to Kris being possessed by us thus being two beings in one body, as such others in their world can sense us but not actually know why they refer to Kris in plural nouns. Aside from that, really liked the animatic.

@@Mkronox kris is referred to with they/them, because they’re nonbinary. spamton and maybe ralsei are the only ones who seem to maybe know kris is being possessed, no one else acts like they know. other characters also refer to kris as person, child, or kid. they have never been referred to with anything other than they/them nor have they ever been called any gendered terms, other than master, but that was also referring to Susie and ralsei. and personally i think saying ‘they’re referred to w they/them bc other characters can sense the player and refer to us and kris in the plural’ is. downright fucking stupid. it’s literally nonbinary erasure, which is transphobia.

@@fella3817 No idea if that part at the end meant that I was transphobic or not, but in my opinion I don't really care about what anyone likes, they can do whatever they want as long as they don't try to force their likes on me (for example I'm straight so don't force me to love someone of the same gender just because they like me, they can like me, but I won't go out with them). The reason I asked is that I keep seeing Ralsei mentioning things that no one in their world would recognize, so he must absolutely know about Kris being possessed by the player. Others might feel something in him but not actually know it consciously, so they could unconsciously be using plurals in order to refer to both Kris and the player. I mean, with how Toby Fox writes his games it could simply be the fact that it is like you say non-binary, or it could also be that they have all sensed us possessing Kris, but at the same time they aren't aware of us since they can't actually see us. It's a weird thing to try and explain, but I hope I managed to explain why I'm a bit confused on this whole thing. Edit: kind of like different levels of awareness on the players interference.

Love this! I always thought of Kris and Susie having more of a sibling relationship but I still enjoyed watching! Also I cannot get enough of the way you draw DR characters!
