Kris Keller's Rage Cage Caddis | Drift It or Skate It (Fly Tying Tutorial)

Kris Keller’s NEW Rage Cage Caddis for 2024 is a low-profile caddis that Keller generally fishes behind the dry without floatant. This pattern can be fished well in the film or skated at the end of the drift and often the eat on this fly happens right before the lift of the next cast. We love that this caddis pattern uses a cut tent wing style foam wing using MFC’s “High Rise Foam”. This foam has a realistic sheen and makes the fly unique from many traditional patterns.

This thing is super buggy simple and well thought out I'll be sure to tie some does the foam cause any casting issues like spinning

No, it casts fine. If it lands funny, a quick twitch and it floats right side up.
